Chapter Eleven

Y/N's POV:

"Rosie, I'm asking you this for the third time, which countries are apart of the axis powers during WWII?"

"Umm, there's Germany, and then uh... OH ITALY IS ONE!! And that's all I got for ya.." she explained, "wait isn't there supposed to be three?"

I sigh as I put my head in my hands for the 30th time tonight. Ive been helping Rosie for the past 2 hours and she has the majority of information down, yet she can't even remember which countries are fighting.

"Yes, there are three countries and you only named two of them. The other country is in Asia." I sighed out. I brought my head back up and saw her eyebrows furrowed in concentration trying to figure out the last country. She looked cute.

"AHA, ITS CHINA!!!" She shouted at me,

"No."

"Damn it, then it has to be Korea." She said confidently,

"Nope," I said starting to lose hope that she's going to get it,

"The Philippines?"

"Nooo"

"Thailand"

"NO"

"Vietnam, final answer," she said crossing her arms, "WAIT I change my mind, it's Indonesia, that's my final, FINAL answer." She made eye contact with me and her hope quickly diminished once she saw my stotic face. I knew I had to think of a way to get her to remember that the country is Japan, then it hit me,

"I got it, what's Jisoo's favorite game?"

Rosie looked at me questioningly, but still answered,

"Pokémon.."

"Ok, and what country did Pokémon originate from?"

"Uhhhh... I know this hold on... JAPAN!! ITS JAPAN ITS JAPAN" She shouted excitedly jumping off her bed and dancing around her room.

"YES IT IS!! THATS THE LAST COUNTRY!!" I said with joy because she finally got there, "now you just need to remember Jisoo when you take the test and you'll be fine." Rosie looked over at me and gave me the biggest grin and tackled me onto her bed in a bear hug.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you y/n, you're going to help me pass this stupid exam next week." She said burying her face into my neck while squeezing me harder. I patted her back awkwardly as I was a blushing mess under her and words failed me at the moment.

"Yeah.. no problem Rosie, I'll always help you study when you need it. That's only with history though because I'm not understanding chemistry at the moment," I finished with a chuckle. I heard her also laugh and felt the vibrations on my chest. I calmed my nerves down and hugged her back and sighed in content. After a few seconds, I looked over at the clock on her night stand and saw it was already almost 8pm.

"Um Rosie?" She just mumbled back a 'hmm' because she was apparently comfortable.

"It is almost 8 and we still haven't had food." She shot her head up immediately and looked into my eyes with a shocked expression. She then whipped her head over to her clock and gasped,

"Oh my god!! I cant believe we studied for 2 hours and I basically starved you!! We can order it right now and have it delivered." She quickly got off of me and grabbed her phone to order the pizza, half pepperoni and half hawaiian. When she got up I already missed her warmth, but decided to just move on. I sat up on her bed and started to put all my things away back into my backpack and started to neatly redo her bed because it got messed up throughout the study session. One thing about her is that she always moves around on her bed and can't stay still for long. When I was done, I turned back around to already see her staring back at me. She didn't look away, which was surprising, but there was still a faint blush dusted on her cheeks.

"Ya know y/n, you didn't have to remake my bed. I was the one who messed it up," she said pushing herself off the doorframe, "besides, it'll just get messed up again later." She looked shocked with what she said and my eyes also went wide. She must have known where my train of thought went and shut that down,

"Oh my god, not like that! I mean like I will sleep later on anyway and it's already later-ish, so it's kinda useless." She explained rapidly. I chuckled at her response and just replied with an 'ok'.

"Well, uh the pizza should be here in about 30 minutes, so do you want to go downstairs and watch something on TV?" Rosie asked,

"Yeah that's fine by me, I'll just have to call my mom that I'll be home later because we still haven't eaten," I said walking next to her while pulling out my phone. I felt her hand stop mine from unlocking my phone as she then spoke up,

"I was actually hoping you could sleep over tonight since I'll be home alone. So I can have someone to protect me. Also, you'd be the first person to have a sleepover at my house here!" She said hopefully. I pondered the idea of sleeping over, yeah I definitely want to, if you know what I mean wink wink. Brain, stfu this is no time for horny thoughts. Boo this is why you only have 3 friends. Yes I argue with myself, I only have 3 other people to talk to, so it happens quite often.

"Yeah, I can call my mom to see if I can stay the night, I'll be right back." I said with a soft smile.

"Ok great!" Rosie said happily.

As I walked over to the kitchen, I dialed my moms number and called. She picked up right away because that is the type of person she is.

"Hey y/n"

"Hey mom, I was wondering if I can spend the night at my friend's house tonight?"

"Are you staying with Jennie?"

"Uh no this is the new girl that moves here last week. I told you about her, her name is Roseanne and she's best friends with Lisa"

"You want to spend the night with a NEW FRIEND?!? OH MY GOD THE TIME HAS COME THAT YOURE MAKING NEW FRIENDS!! I NEVER THOUGHT THIS DAY WOULD COME WITH YOU!!!" She screamed though the phone. Guess she's really excited I'm making a new friend,

"Ok ok, chill out mom. Yes I did make a new friend and she's really cool. And I'm also taking your response as a yes?

"Of course y/n, you can spend the night there. Just make sure I meet her soon and thank her for lowering her friendship standards for you!"

"MOM!"

"I kidding sweetie, but I still want to meet her. Anyway have a good night and I'll see you tomorrow. Love you y/n"

"Thank you and love you too mom." I hung up the phone and made my way back to Rosie where she was sitting with Disney+ open on the TV. I called out her name and she immediately turned her head to me,

"Sooo what did she say?"

"She said I can stay the night with you!" I said enthusiastically because I cant wait to spend more time with her.

"YAY IM SO HAPPY!!! I pulled up Disney+ by the way, so you can choose whatever you want to watch. She handed me the remote, with our hands gliding over one another. I looked over the options and one show caught my attention. I always saw it trending on Twitter and I wanted to wait until all the episodes were out so I could binge it.

"How about we watch WandaVison?"
