Rosie's POV
I'm in the 8th month of my pregnancy and it's been getting unbearable recently. My stomach is obviously a lot bigger, my whole body is sore, the little one is always sitting on my bladder, and I've just been all over the place mentally. I just want this child out of me now. I don't care what gender they are, they just need to get out of me. All of our family and friends wanted to know why we didn't want to know the gender until they were born. The simple answer was that we just didn't care what gender they were. We aren't going to raise then with the gender norms, we want them to live how they want.
I'm over here thinking about how to mentally prepare myself for giving birth while my wife is having a losing battle with a crib.
"It says to put this thingy here, but it doesn't fucking fit!" She groaned out in frustration. I just stayed out in my comfy chair here in the nursery. Y/n told me not to stress about anything because it's bad for the baby, so that's exactly what I'm doing.
"Are you sure you have the right piece?" I asked her, looking down at her rereading the instructions for the 7th time this hour.
"Yes!" She said furiously pointing to the paper, "It says here to have piece 8 go into piece 9."
"Okay, and you have pieces 8 and 9?" She nodded her head and showed me,
"Yeah look." I looked at them and wanted to wack her over the head with the one labeled '9'.
"You idiot, this is 6 not 9." She immediately snatched the pieces out of my hands and looked them over. She fished through the other parts and found what she thought piece 6 was. She was staring at them for a good 5 minutes before just laying face down on the floor. I took some pictures of her and posted them to Instagram with the caption my wife is a handy woman, can you tell? I smiled at the comments flooding in and laughed as some of them were also poking fun at my wife. One comment stood out to me and it said i bet she's pretty good with her hands. I liked the comment and even pinned it because why not. My fansés will go crazy about it and it'll give me some free entertainment.
"Love, why is my phone going off a lot? What did you do?" Y/n asked as she pulled her phone out of her pocket and saw the Instagram notifications. I smirked at her,
"Look at my latest post baby." I heard her mumble a 'jesus christ' under her breath as she opened up the app. I heard her chuckle a little and watched her double tap the post. I then watched as she went to the comments,
"Roseanne Park, why are you liking comments about me being good with my hands?"
"Because it's true." She rolled her eyes, but then a devilish smirk appeared on her lips as I saw her typing away. I got a notification saying that she replied to the comment I had pinned. I clicked it and read it: y/npark: i can definitely handle a few things ;)
"And you're telling me I need to stop while you're over here doing the same thing?" I said with a laugh. She smiled up at me,
"What? If you start something, I gotta finish it. Now I just need to turn if my notifications."
"Yeah ya do."
Y/n and I continued to talk about Instagram and how she's great with her hands. She finally finished building the crib for our baby and I applauded her for her achievement. She told me to shut up and that she'll order us some pizza because she said that she deserves it. Hell, I'm not complaining because some pizza sounds really fucking good right now.
I slowly got out of the chair and stretched as much as I could with my belly. My body is always achy now and I hate it. Y/n waited for me and walked next to me, keeping her hand on the small of my back comfortingly. I leaned my head on her shoulder as we went downstairs. She called for the pizza and the person said it would be delivered in about 30 minutes. I walked over to the couch and sat down, letting out a sigh of relief. I propped my feet up on the ottoman and turned on the TV to see what we can watch. Y/n plopped down next to me and patted her lap. I quirked my eyebrow at her,
