Chapter Sixty-Seven

Y/N's POV

It's been a couple of days since I made up with Rosie and it's been going good. I haven't seen Sana at all which is definitely weird, but I'm not complaining. I'm just suspicious that Rosie murdered her or something. She said she couldn't date me if I was jail and that goes both ways.

The five of us were walking to Ralph's for lunch today. We wanted Irene to come with us since she's becoming a piece in our friend puzzle, but she needed to talk to Wendy about something. The two couples were walking hand in hand while Jisoo walked alone, ahead of us.

"Hey Soo," I spoke up. She turned around and started to walk backwards.

"What?"

"When are you going to ask Irene out? She obviously likes you and we all know how you would fall off a cliff for her, so just ask her". I said and everyone agreed. She stopped walking backwards,

"What makes you think she likes me back?"

"Well," I started, "I asked her a little while ago if she had a crush and she said she did and that that I knew them. And I've seen the way she looks at you whenever she's with us. It's like how Lisa and I look at our girlfriends. Sooooo, ask her. No harm in trying."

"Y'all are real bold huh. I don't know if she likes me," Jisoo said as she looked down at the ground. Jennie went up to her and held her shoulders,

"I'm not letting a fellow Kim get down in the dumps, so ask the girl out." Jisoo shook off Jennie,

"Fine."

"Yes!" I shouted as everyone was super excited about that. I knew we all hated when she would have to fifth wheel with us, so this could change things up for the better. And a future CEO and actress couple? That's a power couple if I've ever seen one.

We made our way into Ralph's and all ordered our usual as we all talked about school and how much we hate it. That's one thing we all have in common at least. I gave Rosie some of my fries as she didn't get any with her salad that she insisted on getting. She ended eating half my fries, but I was fine with it since it made her happy and she did her little dance.

The lunch break was soon up and we were all in our classes once again. I raised my hand to go to the bathroom and started to walk through the halls, taking my time because I hate statistics. I heard some talking coming from around the corner and I recognized the voices.

Irene and Wendy.

And being the person I am, I snuck up around the corner so I could hear their conversation.

"Are you sure she likes me back?" Irene said to Wendy. That got my attention real quick and I listened attentively.

"I'm certain Irene, just ask her out on a date after school. Do it when you meet up with her at the front. That way it'll be less stressful since you'll have people around you. And if, for some reason, she doesn't want to go on a date with you, she can't make a scene anyway." Wendy explained. I heard Irene sigh out,

"Ok, I'll ask her out on a date today." Oh my god. Part of me wants to run and find Jisoo to tell her all about this, but then that would be maybe not the best move. So I decided to just take a few steps back like I was just starting to walk down the hall to pretend I didn't just hear everything. As I walked into the hallway they were in, they both snapped their heads to me.

"Uh, hi y/n." Irene said.

"Hey, what are you two doing here?" I said pointing between the two of them. She looked at Wendy and then back at me.

"Oh ya know, just asking her for some advice." She said playing with her fingers. Wendy was still just observing me, making me a little nervous but I hid it well.
