Chapter Forty-Five

Rosie's POV

After I left y/n in the bathroom, I made my way back to the team and sat next to Minnie. She's a sophomore and the same age as y/n, Lisa, and I. So even though she's a grade lower, we have been getting along just fine.

"So I'm guessing you followed y/n into the bathroom and made out for a little?" Minnie said with a smirk.

"You know me too well." I answered. We then turned our attention to the court as the teams came back on the court to start the second half. I looked up to where y/n was sitting and shot her a wink. Lisa also saw me wink at y/n and dramatically winked back at me. I just laughed and rolled my eyes at my best friend.

Irene called out for us as we were going to do our cheer with the student section. It was the 'do it' cheer as we called it. It was when Irene would shout for the people who graduate in year 2021 and they would shout 'do it' multiple times in a rhythm and jump around. It was actually really fun to do. (a/n: it's an actual thing my school does and it is really fun and no one makes it sexual, SO THAT MEANS U SHOULDNT EITHER)

"2021, I wanna hear you do it!" Irene shouted. All the students that were graduating this year sprang up from their seats and shouted 'do it' over and over. Then it was the class of 2022, which was our class. I saw the three musketeers hop up with everyone else in our class and shout like idiots at the top of their lungs. It was then the lower classes turns and they also did pretty well.

The rest of the game went on as I stole glances at y/n the whole time. I would lock eyes with her almost every time which was nice to know I had her full attention. The game ended and we won 68-56, so the students cheered on our team. The cheer team had to congratulate the team also as we had to cheer for them as they left the floor. I felt someone's eyes on me and turned to where I felt them coming from and saw Jungkook staring at me. I scoffed at him and rolled my eyes at him as I walked over to where y/n and the rest of them were.

I smiled as I saw y/n looking lovingly at me and I sat next to her and kiss her cheek. Jisoo, Jennie, and Lisa all praised me for my cheer ability.

"Thank you, I didn't know how I was going to do tonight, but I definitely did better than I thought I was going to do." I said shyly.

"Rosie, you literally were the best one out there. I think everyone knew that, even Irene." Lisa spoke up.

"Yeah, you were outstanding Rosie, really." Jennie said with a smile. I thanked them all again as we all started to file out of the gym.

"Wait, before you guys go, Jennie and I have something to tell you Rosie." Lisa said nervously. We stopped and I looked at my best friend with a smile,

"I know you two are together and I am absolutely here for it. You guys look great together."

"Thanks Rosie," Jennie said with a gummy smile. I winked at the pair and we walked out of the school.

I held y/n's hand the whole time as we split up from the gang and started to walk back to y/n's house. She told me that we would have the house to ourselves tonight because Nayeon was over at Jeongyeon's house and her mother was over her sister's house catching up. I silently thanked god for giving me this golden opportunity to give myself fully to y/n. That is if she's ready because I don't want to pressure her into anything. I would never be able to forgive myself if I did that and made her uncomfortable with me.

Y/n unlocked the front door and we walked in and turned on the lights. I saw Milo sleeping on the couch and cooed at how cute he looked. Y/n also saw and she went over to his food bowl because Tiffany texted her to feed him. As soon as the food hit the metal food bowl, Milo was wide awake and making his way over. I'm the same way with food. I smiled as I watched y/n pet him as he ate. When he was finished he wanted to go outside and she let him out.
