Chapter Fifteen

Y/N's POV

RINGGG, RINGGG, RINGGG

I groaned as I heard what I assumed to be Rosie's alarm clock. I slowly opened my eyes and saw that she was still sound asleep in my arms. As much as I didn't want to move, I knew I had to turn off that god awful alarm. I carefully started to get her out of my embrace when she snuggled closer to me and then wrapped me up in her arms. She did all this while the alarm was still going off. Rolling my eyes, I lightly tapped the back of her head to wake her up, or at least get her to loosen her grip on me. And of course that didn't work. So I just had to manhandle my way out.

"Y/n, I swear to god leave the alarm alone and come back here right now." She said with her eyes still closed. I ignored her and went over to turn the alarm off and looked back over to see her sat up staring at me with an angry look.

"Rosie, why are you looking at me like that?"

"Because you got up and now I'm cold, which leads me to becoming grumpy." She spoke with an attitude. Not a morning person I see.

"Well that's a shame isn't it. Would you like me to go and buy you breakfa-"

"Come back here now, I don't care about breakfast right now." She hissed while lifting the blanket up, a sign for me to get back under it. But I wanted to see just how far I could get with pushing her buttons.

"No," I said with the same amount of attitude. Her eyes widen and her jaw tightened. She stood up across from me on the other side of the bed.

"Y/n, I don't like repeating myself. Especially when I know someone is trying to push my buttons."

"Well, if you know I want to push your buttons, why ya letting me?" I counted with a smirk. Fire in her eyes is all I see as she lunged forward over top of her bed to get to me. She was just able to grab my wrist because I couldn't react to her speed as it caught me off guard. Then I feel myself getting yanked onto her bed and my back hitting the mattress. She then straddled me and I was paralyzed underneath her. I felt like I couldn't breath, but I'd be more than happy dying like this. She lowered her head down to mine so our faces were only a few inches away. I locked eyes with her and she spoke lowly,

"I would suggest you don't do that again. Now I'm keeping you here and you're going to live with it." She stated. I sucked in a breath and nodded my head because I couldn't do anything else. With my response, lifted her head away with a smirk and laid down on top of me, putting her head in the crock of my neck. Even though I was terrified and caught off guard by her actions, I still couldn't find it in me to not give into her. So with that, I wrapped my arms around her waist and held her onto me. I wanted to ask her if she actually wanted breakfast or not, so I broke the silence, or tried to,

"Hey Ros-"

"Shut up y/l/n and hold me longer." With that, I let out a sigh and then drifted off into a light sleep.

I woke with Rosie still laying on top of me. I let out a sigh and turned my head as much as I could to see what time it was. 11:24 am. Jesus we slept for basically 12 hours in total. I knew I had to get her up and I was starving at this point and I was going to get food no matter what. I was able to get her off of me with relative ease compared to other attempts to not wake her. I then called out her name 3 times and she still wasn't awake. So I did what any sane person would do: I went to bathroom and got a cup of cold water and splashed it on her. She immediately jolted awake and screamed my name,

"Y/N I SWEAR TO FUCKING GOD IM GOING TO KILL YOU!!!" I laughed and then made a dash for her door. I ran down her stairs while hearing my laugh echo throughout the halls. I then heard very angry footsteps behind me,

"COME BACK HERE AND FACE ME!!!"

"NEVER!!!" I yelled back to her. I then was at the bottom of the stairs and took a right towards the living room. I then turned around to see a Rosie with wet hair and my hoodie being somewhat wet. But I didn't care about my hoodie, it could be dried. I gave her a goofy smile and I saw a ghost of a smile before she wiped it off her face. She then started to slowly stalk towards me while talking,

"Oh y/n, you can just surrender now and have no consequences. I promise I won't do anything to you if you do." She gave me a wicked smile as she got closer.

"Mmm, a real tempting offer, but I think i'm going to pass on that. I don't think you're in the right head space because that offer was a little soaking to me," I said doubling over in laughter, "get it, like shocking but soaking? Actually, that sounds kind of stupid now that I think abo-" I then heard her move quickly but I knew she was going to and was ready to run. She jumped over the couch like some fucking super human and chased me though out her house. I then hid behind a corner and heard her breathing heavily and walking in my direction, but I knew she didn't know exactly where I was.

"I know you're somewhere over here y/n/n and when I find you, IM GOING TO THROW YOU INTO THE POOL," She said loudly so I would hear the threat. I then finally saw her step out from the hallway and look to her left first, but I was on her right. So when I knew she was distracted, I let my emotions take the next move and kissed her gently on the cheek. She froze in place and lifted her hand up to her cheek, which was now bright red, and then turned to see me looking at her with adoration and a soft smile on my lips.

"You...I... you ju-" She couldn't form a proper sentence, causing me to smile wider.

"So... am I forgiven?" I asked still looking into her eyes. She eyes also softened and gently nodded because words were failing her. I gave her a hug and she was still frozen in place, so I took it upon myself to continue the conversation,

"Now that you're up, I was thinking we could go to Ralph's because they also serve all day breakfast and you've never had the chance to experience their delicious pancakes. So, would you gladly join me?" I asked, taking a hold of her left hand. She glanced down at our hands and then back up to me,

"I guess it wouldn't hurt to accompany you." She said with a grin.
