Chapter Ninety

Y/N's POV

The day is March 11th and I'm stuck here in a lecture that's really fucking boring. The dumb bitch is giving me a ton of work to do that's due tomorrow. And of course tomorrow is Friday and it's also March 12th, the day Rosie is going to release her debut album, -R-. I'm trying to time manage, but it's not fucking working. Why the hell did I want to become an aerospace engineer?

I'll drive home tonight and just pull an all nighter to get all of the work done. Boom. And then I'll have the day with Rosie and she's going to be live on her YouTube channel talking about the album before its release at 12pm, aka mid day.

"And then you also have that paper due tonight. I will see you all next class." And the professor ended class and I ran out the building to the dorm. I saw Lisa there getting ready to leave also in her car. She was kind of freaked out when she saw me rush in here and pack all my school shit into a bag and run back out the door.

I got in my car and drove home. While I was doing that, I had my speech to text on and I was saying my essay to at least get the rough draft because I completely forgot about it. There were some swear words said because of other drivers, so I'll need to edit those out. But I got the main idea of the essay and I was proud of myself for shaving off a big chunk of everything I needed to do.

Home. I was finally home and quickly greeted my mom before going upstairs and basically locking myself in my room to do my work. It was currently 4pm and I would leave for dinner for probably 10 minutes and then I have the rest of the evening and morning to work. Nice.

I started on my essay first since it was fresh in my mind. The editing and adding facts and shit all took me around 2 more hours. But the paper was done finally and I submitted it without a care. I then heard my mom call me down for dinner after I started on more work. I reluctantly dragged myself away from my work and went downstairs to eat with her. It was nice talking to her again and the food was good too. I also told her goodnight since I wasn't leaving my room for the rest of the night.

I went back into my cave and quickly shot Rosie a text telling her that I'm home. We had a short conversation and she wanted to come over, but I told her I had a ton of work to do. She understood and I was thankful of that. I told her that I would try and call her later. She texted me not to overwork myself and I told her 'ok' knowing that's exactly what I was going to do.

I spent the next 3 hours on the first half of the engineering project he assigned us that's due fucking tomorrow. I swear to god that bitch is an absolute psychopath. I then took a quick snack break as it was  almost 10pm. I went back to work and got a decent amount done before my brain needed a break.

So I watched 'Frozen' as a distraction.

It was now past midnight and I still needed to finish this project and do some chemistry work. I turned off my overhead light and just kept my little lamp on my desk on to be a little easier on my eye. I blinked hard a few times before fully immersing myself into my work.

Rosie's POV

It was around 3:30am and I knew I wouldn't be able to get any sleep as I was just tossing and turning the whole time. I still also haven't heard back from y/n and that's making me think she's probably working herself to sleep right now. I looked at my phone and decided fuck it. I went to my mom and told her I can't sleep and I'm going over y/n's to have her try and get me to sleep. She was half conscious and said okay, so it was good enough for me.

I drove over to her house and to my anger, saw a light coming from her window. I grumbled to myself and quietly went inside with my key. I tiptoed up the stairs and opened her door to see my girlfriend hunched over, staring at her laptop screen, reading something. She had her headphones on most likely to block out any unnecessary noise. I was practically fuming at this point.
