(a/n: is this... the ending?)

Y/N's POV

I stirred awake by feeling someone poking my face repeatedly. I groaned at how annoying my wife is right now, but I opened my eyes reluctantly.

"What's up love?" I asked her with my scratchy sleep voice.

"My water broke." She stated calmly. I sat up so fast I gave myself whiplash.

"WHAT?" I practically screamed at her, my eyes wide as I looked at my wife in utter shock. She just nodded her head,

"Yup, so let's get going to the hospital I guess." She said as she just walked into the closet. I was frozen on the bed for a couple of seconds, my mind racing with too many thoughts to comprehend at the moment. The clock read 3:44am and I scrambled out of bed, running straight to the bathroom to do I don't even know what. I was full blown panicking right now as I then just ran back out into our bedroom and threw on a hoodie and some socks. I frantically searched for some comfy shoes and settled on some Nike shoes I had. Rosie casually walked out of the closet changed into comfy clothes and I just stared at her blankly.

"Babe, are you okay?"

"I should be asking you that! Are you okay? Do your feet hurt? Are you having contractions? Are you–"

"Y/n," Rosie said as she placed her hands on my shoulders, "I'm fine right now. Let's just get going to the hospital so I can push this baby out of me soon." She calmed me down instantly and I was now in the right mindset for helping out my wife who's going to be going into labor. I told her to get to the car and I would grab the bag of everything we would need for the ride there and at the hospital. I texted the group chat that Rosie's water broke and my phone blew up with their messages. Jisoo said Irene can stay with Hankie while we are all at the hospital and I told her to thank her fiancée a billion times over.

I ran down the stairs with the bag and saw Rosie just chilling in the car. It's amazing to me at how calm she is through this whole thing. I took a deep breath before joking my wife in the car. She looked over at me and smiled as I turned it on, now able to connect her phone for some music. I soon hear the song 'Here Comes The Sun' through the speakers of my car. I gave my wife a curious look and she explained the song choice,

"Well, our baby is going to be the light of our lives, so they're the sun. So 'Here Comes The Sun' fits with the situation pretty much perfectly." My heart felt warm at her words and I couldn't fight the wide smile that took over my face. I reached over and took her hand in mine, squeezing it three times. The drive to the hospital wasn't the worst thing in the world and we were soon checked in and in our room for the next who knows how many hours.

Everyone who I texted earlier showed up a little later than us and sat down in the room with us. Our doctor came into the room and greeted all of us, asking who was the partner to my wife. I raised my hand,

"I am sir." He smiled at me and nodded his head,

"Great to know so when we are ushering people out of here when she's able to start pushing, I'll keep you around." I smiled at him and nodded my head,

"That would definitely be interesting if you kicked me out when my wife is giving birth."

"Well, let's check to see your dilation." He got up in my wife's vagina and I wasn't too thrilled about that. I saw Rosie smirk at me and I just scoff and rolled my eyes. I looked beside me and saw everyone else smirking right back at me, even my mom. I just tried to not pay attention to them and just went on my phone to distract myself. The doctor soon pulled away, "Looks like you're at 2cm, so you still have 8 more to go I'm afraid. I'll be back in about an hour and a half to see how far along you are then."
