Y/N's POV
Rosie and I are meeting with Jane once more for wedding details. We decided on having the wedding itself at Westpoint Community Building, aka where our first date was. Then the wedding reception would be at Linden Hill and we had already contacted the city to have the hill rented out of the day and they agreed.
The two of us have been trying to brainstorm the color scheme for the wedding and subtle theme it will have, but we've been drawing blanks. Everyday honestly we have been looking at wedding inspiration, but nothing felt right; nothing felt like us.
"Rosie," I groaned as I stared at our ceiling, "we need to have a color scheme and/or theme before we go see Jane. She'll be a pissed of middle aged woman at us and I don't want that."
"Okay, um what do we both love?"
"Each other." I stated. I glanced over at her and saw a tiny smile on her face, but she quickly wiped it away because we were getting off topic.
"Something other than that." I sighed and just twiddled my thumbs, thinking.
"Music."
"How the hell are we gonna make a theme or color scheme out of that."
"I don't know!" I then brainstormed another idea.
"We both love space and stars." I then sat up in our bed as that actually wasn't a bad idea. I looked to my right to see Rosie also very much considering the idea.
"I think you're on to something babe." She pulled her phone out and then cringed at whatever she was looking at, "alright, so we are not going to have that stupid blue and purple galaxy print at our wedding. Maybe it can be like a subtle galaxy. Oh, like astronomy themed!"
"Okay, I see you." I then pulled my phone out and looked up 'astronomy themed wedding'. Some of the pictures that showed up weren't half bad. I leaned over and showed Rosie. Her eyes lit up and she snatched my phone out of my hand.
"The color scheme can be navy blue, white, and gold! I can wear a white dress and you can have a navy suit! There can be these cute star designs and everything and then the reception is going to be stunning because it'll be outside and at night! Oh my god this is going to be perfect!" She threw my phone to the side and lunged forward to give me a kiss. I was caught off guard, but I kissed her back obviously.
"I'm glad you like the way my brain works." I joked with her. She just stared into my eyes like I was the only person alive and I honestly got a little overwhelmed.
"I love you so much." She announced as she brought us together for another kiss. I smiled into it and swiped my tongue across her bottom lip. She allowed it and we made out lightly before we needed to head out and plan more of this wedding.
We decided that we were going to take Hank with us because the building allowed pets, so why not. I grabbed his leash and he got all excited. Rosie laughed at him and pet him as she attached the leash to his collar. Rosie stood up then linked our arms together and we were out the door with our fuzzy son.
He sat nicely in Rosie's lap the whole way there, sticking his head out of the window every so often. I parked the car and Hank dragged Rosie over to some grass where he went to the bathroom. I waited for them to meet me at the front door and we walked in the entrance. The receptionist gave Hankie a treat and he was all happy as we made our way to Jane's office.
"Hello you two! And I see we have a visitor with you guys! What's his name?" She asked as she pointed to Hank.
"His name is Hank." Rosie said proudly as we took our seats, Hank curling up in front of Rosie's feet. Jane grabbed out some notebooks and whatnot while we just made casual conversation before talking about the wedding.
