Y/N's POV
I went downstairs and ate my dinner fast because I didn't want to leave Rosie alone in my room for too long with nothing to do. I finished my food in record time and raced back up the stairs and flew my door open,
"Done!" I said to her. She jumped at the sound of the door opening so fast and turned her head when she heard my voice.
"Y/n, I said eat your food, not fucking inhale it."
"But I didn't want to leave you alone, so I ate my food fast." I said making my way over to my desk chair to sit down. I saw she was looking at my one lava lamp on my bookshelf. She looked so fascinated by it and seeing her face light up every time the "lava" inside split up.
"I see my lava lamp has peaked your interests." I said with a chuckle. She just laughed in return,
"Yeah, I've always wanted one and just watching yours is fun." She said inching her face closer to it.
"More fun than me?" I said with a frown. She looked over her shoulder,
"Yup." She answered, popping the p.
"Then I guess you won't mind if I leave you then." I said getting up from my chair and started to make my way to my bedroom door. I heard rustling on my bed and felt her hand snatch my wrist.
"Nope, you're staying here with me." She said, yanking me onto my bed with her. I laughed as my back hit the bed and she rested her head on my stomach, looking up at me as I closed my eyes in content.
"Hey y/n?" She asked quietly. I hummed a response, letting her know that I was listening even though my eyes were closed.
"Uh, I had a question I wanted to ask you." She said resting her chin in my stomach, letting me know she was looking at me. I felt her play with the hem of my shirt and I finally opened my eyes to meet hers.
"Yeah, you can ask me anything, you know that." I softly whispered to her while playing with her hair to calm her. She let out a sigh and spoke,
"Well, I was going to ask you if you wanted to accompany me to my father's funeral." She said hesitatingly. I sucked in a breath because I didn't expect her to ask me about that. She apparently took that as a bad sign and rambled on,
"I knew I should've not asked you because I didn't know how you would respond to it. You never even met him or anything, so of course you wouldn't wan–"
"Hey hey Rosie, look at me." I said putting my hand on her cheek. She stopped talking and looked me in the eyes. "I would love to accompany you to your father's funeral. I just was shocked at the question because I didn't know you wanted me there."
"Of course I would want you there with me. You already know how to deal with my emotions, so you would be able to keep me sane." After that response, I opened my arms up to her,
"Come here." She smiled at me and crawled up the bed to rest her chin right on my chest. I want to say that I love her so bad in this moment, but she already has a lot in her head. And I didn't want to scare her off with me confessing how madly in love I am with her.
"Ya know something?" I asked her.
"What?"
"I think you're becoming my favorite person," her eyes lit up, "but don't tell Jennie about it. She'll come for you and me." She laughed at me and then kissed under my jaw,
"I think I can take her." She said confidently.
"Well you have the height advantage, but do you have the psychotic advantage? I think she has you beat in that category."
