Chapter Eighty

Y/N's POV

"Since when the hell were you going to tell me you are taking your driver's test on March 30th?" I asked barging into Rosie's room. I heard Lisa talking about it with Jennie earlier today at lunch and I wanted to see if she was going to tell me later, but she didn't. So I came over here to get some answers.

"Where the fuck did you hear that?" Rosie questioned back.

"Lisa."

"That fucking dumbass can't keep her mouth shut to save her life." My eyes widened,

"So it is true." She looked over at me and nodded her head,

"Yup, I'm taking it tomorrow. I've been practicing with my mom for the past week and I finished my in-cars last week." Rosie explained.

"Why didn't you tell me?" I asked her sadly. This is a big thing in someone's life and she wasn't even going to tell me about it. And I'm her girlfriend.

"I wanted it to be a surprise. I wanted to get my license so I could then pick you up for our one year anniversary and I could drive us."

Great, now I feel fucking bad. I just ruined a surprise and now she feels bad about it.

I sighed out and sat down on her desk chair and placed my head in my hands,

"I'm sorry for ruining the surprise. I'm sorry for yelling at you also." I told her as I was on the brink of tears because I'm a bad girlfriend.

"Hey, hey, it's okay. I should've told you so I didn't have to hide it from you. It's fine and I understand why you yelled because I would've done the same." She rushed as she came over and crouched down in front of me. I felt her hands rub up and down my arms trying to comfort me. I lifted my head out of my hands and she looked at me sadly,

"Aww y/n~ come here." She opened her arms up for me and I went into her embrace. I feel like a shitty person right now. I hugged her tightly and just took in her scent to calm me down. Once I got my breathing under control, I pulled back and she pecked my lips, "You're fine and we're fine, okay?"

"Okay."

"Good, now I'm going to need to get ready because my mom is coming home in like 5 minutes and I need to practice maneuverability again because that shit is terrifying."

"I agree, that part was not fun. I have complete faith in you that you are going to do great practicing tonight and you are going to nail the test tomorrow." I said confidently. She gave me a grin and hopped up to get on some socks and she grabbed the car keys. I followed her downstairs and we waited for her mon to come home.

We heard the garage door open and she shot up from her seat and ran towards the door to the garage. I laughed at her eagerness and watched as she flung the door open. Clare just got out of the car and looked over at her daughter jumping up and down,

"Chaeyoung, calm down! Let me put my things away and we can go, chill." Clare lightly scolded. Rosie's shoulders slumped at the words she just heard. After a few minutes, Clare reappeared and Rosie sprinted to the car and got into the driver's seat. Clare soon climbed into the passenger's seat and I heard Rosie turn the car on.

"I'll head home, have fun driving love." I told her as I was about to walk out of the garage back home.

"Wait!" I heard Rosie shout. I turned around to see her window rolled down and her whole head sticking out of it, "what if I drive you home?"

"Will you kill me in the process?" I joked. I heard Clare laugh and Rosie shot me a death glare,

"Get in the stupid car." I held my hands up defensively and made my way over to the back seat and got in. She then reversed out of the garage fine and we were off to my house. Even though it took like 2 minutes, she still did good. Rosie pulled into my driveway and put the car in park,
