Y/N's POV

Rosie has been an emotional roller coaster everyday and it's so hard to try and figure out how she's going to act that day; well quite frankly, that hour. She's in her 3rd month of pregnancy, which means she has really just started the second trimester out of the three. One thing that happens during the early stages of this trimester is that the baby bump should start to appear. That's the thing that I'm most excited about and I can't wait to see my girl with the baby bump.

Like today, so far it's only 11am and I've seen my wife go through a billion different moods and emotions it's giving me whiplash. So I need to be really cautious at what I do and say so I don't piss her off or anything. I creep into her studio downstairs and gently knock on the door. She paused whatever she was doing and turned around to face me,

"Yes?"

"I was just wondering how you're doing." She just stared at me blankly,

"Fine." As soon as I heard that one word answer, I knew not to continue this conversation. I've fucked up in the past with trying to get her to talk more, but I've learned from my mistakes. I quietly then shut the door to her studio and decided to take Hank out in the backyard and play with him a little. The snow had already melted since it's early March, but we are supposed to be getting more next week. This week was just a warmer one, so I'm going to use it to my advantage.

I opened the sliding glass door and Hank ran right past me into the yard. I laughed at him and followed after him, closing the door behind me. I grabbed a ball to throw around with him and he was running all around the yard, getting all of his energy out. We have a pretty large yard with a lovely patio and deck. There is a small outdoor kitchen that I can't wait to use also. Rosie and I have also been thinking about adding an in-ground pool because we have the space for it.

As I was daydreaming about adding a nice pool into our yard, Hankie found a nice big mud puddle. My eyes widened and I ran over to him, yelling for him to get out of it. He lifted his head up and it was covered in mud. Hankie trotted out of it and look like a whole different dog; his coat was now completely dirt brown. I just stood there as he walked over in front of me and sat down, tilting his head as he looked up at me. I just slapped my hand over my face,

"Hankie, what am I going to do with you?" I mumbled as I had to figure out a way to clean him off. I would use the hose outside, but I know that water is literally going to be freezing and I don't wanna do that to him. I snapped my fingers,

"I got it! Hankie, I'm going to get a towel real quick and then take you to the guest bathroom upstairs since it has a walk in shower. Just don't bark or draw attention to us because we don't want Rosie to get mad. Got it?"

"Bark bark!"

"Hell yeah! Wait right here," I said as I sprinted back inside and searched for an old towel I could use. I looked in the downstairs closet and felt a tap on my shoulder. I screamed loudly and turned quickly to see Rosie staring at me confused.

"Hi to you too. I was just gonna ask you if you can get me some Mcdonald's." I nodded my head,

"Sure, just uh, gotta do something real quick. You can go ahead back into the studio. I'll get your food in like 20 minutes love."

"Okay, thank you babe." She pecked my cheek and I smiled as she was now in a good mood. Rosie started to then walk away just as I found a towel for Hankie.

"Bark bark!" I snapped my head to the backyard and saw that damn dog sitting right at the window wall. I heard Rosie walking back this way,

"Did you let Hankie outside?" I threw the towel aside and quickly ran over to my wife who was about to turn the corner and see our messy ass dog through the window.
