Y/N's POV

I woke up even before my alarm went off because I was looking forward to this day for basically a week. Today was going to be the day that I take Rosie on our first official date. I had a smile on my face all morning and when I went down to eat breakfast, my mother was all smiles too.

"Hey Miss Got A Date Today, here's your breakfast." She said winking at me, causing me to laugh.

"Thanks mom, I hope everything goes great tonight. I'm really scared because I really like her and don't want to mess this up." I said anxiously.

"Y/n, I've seen the girl look at you and she is head over heels for you. And you look at her the same exact way. I think you'll be fine, even if the whole world went up in flames," She said patting my back, "Anyway, I got to head off to work, make sure you lock up because Nayeon has already left for class." I felt a kiss on top of my head and said a goodbye to her as she walked out the front door.

I just kept replaying what the date will go like tonight and I tried to play out everything that could go wrong. Just don't fuck this up y/n, never know when you'll get the chance again. I rolled my eyes at my inner self's advice. I put my dishes in the sink and grabbed my book bag and started to walk to school.

I was about to passed Jennie's house when I heard the front door fly open and screaming.

"Y/n!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Jennie screamed. Ughhh, just ignore her. I continued to walk and she only started to run after me. I looked back to see her gaining on me, so then I decided to start to run. I kept hearing her yell after me, but I was just laughing because she didn't have my longer strides. I got to the school before her and sat down on a bench, patiently waiting for her.

It took only a few moments for her to appear in my sights. She made her way over to me dragging her feet and breathing very heavily. I was about to ask if she was okay, but she held up her hand to stop me from asking. She regained composure and stood up straight and started talking,

"So, where are you bringing Roseanne for your date tonight?" She asked excitedly.

"Jennie, I told you, I'm not telling you guys. I want it to be a surprise." I said standing up next to her.

"You suck. I'll stalk you if I have to." She said wickedly.

"Not a chance, midget. Go hang out with Lisa and Jisoo tonight."

"Jisoo is going over her cousin's house tonight." She told me. My face lit up at this new information.

"Ok then hang out with Lisa today. I'm sure she'll be more than happy to keep you company." I said with a smile.

"Ok I'll ask her when I see her," she looked behind me and spotted Lisa talking to Momo, "LISA! Do you wanna hang out with me tonight?!" She yelled. She hurt my ear because she basically yelled right next to me.

"Jesus christ Jennie, give me a warning next time." I utter to her as I was rubbing my ear. She just rolled her eyes and called me weak.

"Uhh, yeah I can hang out with you tonight," Lisa yelled back to Jennie, "is it just going to be us?" She continued, making her way over to us.

"Yup, it's just gonna be you and me Manoban. Y/n said I cant stalk her on her date with Rosie, so she suggested I hang out with you." Jennie said patting my back. I looked over to Lisa with a smug look on my face.

"Ok Jennie, do you just want me to go over your house tonight?" Lisa questioned, shifting her weight from foot to foot.

"Yeah that's fine, I'll text ya when you can come over." Jennie stated, her eyes looking to the left a little and going wide, "and it looks like y/n's other half has arrived." She said pointing over to Rosie. Lisa and I turned to the direction she was pointing and there was Rosie and Jisoo walking next to each other, laughing about something. But when my eyes landed on her, she was the only thing I could see.
