Chapter One Hundred and Thirty-Nine

Rosie's POV

I'm getting married today.

I am getting fucking married today to the love of my life.

So I may or may not have woken up at 6am today because I was just too excited. But one thing that made me kinda sad was that I wasn't able to sleep next to y/n last night. I heard from Lisa that Jennie got all of them hotel rooms to stay the night in. So, I was in our apartment alone for the night. I slept on her side of the bed in her pajamas and even though I missed her a ton, I couldn't help the giddy smile from forming on my face. I honestly probably got like 4 hours of sleep because I just couldn't stay still for that long.

Anyway, I sprung out of bed at 6am because I thought it was a decent time to wake up and eat some breakfast. And y/n being the sweetest person alive, she made me breakfast yesterday so I could just heat it up and be less likely to burn our apartment down. So I grabbed the waffles, hash browns, and bacon out of the fridge and started to heat everything up. I got my phone out and texted the group chat with all my bridesmaids and got zero responses from them.

"Sick, love all my friends." I muttered to myself as I waited for my food to warm up. I decided to scroll through Twitter a little bit and saw a bunch of fan accounts posting things on how they believe I'm going to get married today. I've been posting these cryptic posts on Instagram and I wanted to see if they could figure out the date I'm getting married on. Some people have gotten it and others believe that I'm getting married on August 18.

But I am getting married today, August 8th 2026.

My breakfast was finally heated up and I sat comfortably at the kitchen table while watching an episode of 'Friends'. Hankie was sitting beside me, waiting for me to give him a little piece of my breakfast to him.

"Maybe I have spoiled you." I told him as he just barked in response.

"You're right, you're totally not spoiled." I said as I gave him half a piece of bacon. I smiled at how his tail wagged and how visibly happy he got just from that. Hankie today would actually be at our wedding and I got him a little doggie suit that is so fucking adorable. I can't wait to see him all dressed up.

I must've been sitting watching 'Friends' for awhile because I finally got a text message from Lisa saying that she's coming to pick me up at 7:30am to take me to the venue and look over everything to make sure it was perfect before doing the hair and makeup.

I ran to the bedroom and Hankie followed right behind me as I heard his little paws on the wooden floor. I went into the closet and picked out some jeans and a simple crop top as I would really only be staying in this look for a little bit. I did make sure that I hade white lingerie on underneath for later if you get what I mean. But, I think y/n wants to wait until we are on our actual honeymoon to have sex for the first time as a married couple. So if she sticks to that, I won't be mad because I find it pretty cute. I know most people sneak off and do a quickie, but I doubt we'll do that even though there will probably be a ton of sexual tension.

After I changed, I walked out of the closet and looked to the corner of our bedroom where our luggage was stored. We packed everything we were going to need for our honeymoon a few days prior so we wouldn't need to worry about it now. When Lisa comes here in like 10 more minutes, she'll help me bring these to her car because right after the wedding reception, y/n and I are hopping in the plane to Crete, Greece.

I soon felt my phone buzz in my pocket and took it out to see Lisa had texted me that she's here. I told her to come up and help me with the luggage. After a minute or so, I heard a knock on the apartment door and opened it up to be met with a giant bear hug. I laughed and hugged her back tightly.
