Chapter 18

Kiara's POV

"I cant with gym OMG!" Emily yelled laying on the ground being the drama queen she is.

"It's not that hard, we exercise all the time Em." I giggled while Wade just stared at her.

"Maybe instead of laughing you could help me up." She rolled her eyes holding her head.

"I'm not going to help the person up who threw a ball at my face." I crossed my arms.

Wade and Emily just started laughing.

"It's really not that funny." I slapped my head as Emily struggled to stand up.

"That's where I would have to disagree with you. I always like hitting you in the face with my balls."

I slapped Emilys arm, knocking her back down on her butt.

"Emily shut up!" I yelled as she laughed so hard, I swear she wasn't breathing.

"You two are crazy.' Wade chuckled.

"Wade! Can you come here?" The coach yelled from across field.

"Sure!" he answered back running towards him.

Me and Emily watched as he ran across the field.

"No offense, but Wades kinda annoying." Emily looked at me.

"He's trying his best. I kinda friend zoned him earlier. I'm trying to distance him from me or get him to lose interest." I shrugged.

"Oh, that reminds me. How are you holding up about this morning?" She rubbed her neck.

"I'm doing fine, I guess." I answered with hesitation.

"Has he tried talking to you?" She rubbed her chin.

"He texted me earlier about it. I told him to leave me alone so he started blowing up my phone a little. I just shut it off for the day."

"He tried talking to me too. In the cafe... But he made me miss my morning bagel so I kicked him in the balls as hard as I could swing my leg." Emily said blankly.

"Emily!" I yelled getting defensive.

"He deserved it. He fucked with my best friend and not only..... HE MADE ME MISS MY MORNING BAGEL!!! NOT COOL MAN!!! You know how much that screws up my whole day." She fought.

Decebel's POV

"You sure you don't need my help tonight?" I asked Hunter standing in the hallway.

"Yeah man, I should be all set. You just worry about making things alright with Kiara." He replied.

"Well, link if there's any issues. I'm gonna try to get her back to talking to me." I sighed.

"Alright, I'm gonna head out." Hunter said before walking down the hall.

I grabbed my phone out of my pocket and saw that I had 3 unread messages from my mother. I went to click on it before my phone was smacked out of my hands.

"Do you fucking mind?" I yelled before i noticed Wade standing in front of me with a smug look.

"Not at all."

"Do you have some kind of man crush on me or something? Why can't you just leave me alone?" I rolled my eyes while picking up my phone.

"Well, I see that someone's still mad that Kiara wants me more than you." Wade chuckled.
