Chapter 27

Kiara's POV

"I thought the last party we went to was huge, look at all the people here!" Emily said in amazement.

"Yeah, there's more people than I thought to be honest." I giggled while getting a drink out of the punch bowl.

"I mean, look at all the hot males here... Oh my god! Do you think one of the seniors could be my mate? OH! Even one of the professors?" Emily jumped up and down clapping her hands.

"You're awful!" I gasped.

"You know I like my men older." She primped her hair.

I shook my head with a giggle.

"Have you talked to Decebel?" Emily asked taking a shot.

"He told me he was taking a nap. I guess he had a long day after he left my house yesterday." I shrugged.

"How's the bond going..?" She rubbed her neck.

"Honestly, its a lot stronger than I would have thought it would have been this soon into it. I really miss him when he's not around." I sighed.

"Has your mom said anything about when he should be starting here?" Emily questioned.

"Not yet, although at this point I'm more worried about him not being accepted. His transcript cant be good if all he did was get into fights." I shrugged.

"I like to hear that you missed me, but I wouldn't think my mate would underestimate what I would do to be near her." I heard a comforting male voice behind me and felt to arms wrap around my waist.

I quickly spun around and saw my handsome mate. He had a smirk on his face.

"I'll leave you both to it. Hunter, lets go get you fucked up." Emily dragged Hunter away while he was laughing.

"Believe it or not, but I actually missed that pretty face of yours." Decebel spoke softly.

I let out a giggle,

"We'll that's reliving to hear, because I really missed you. I honestly don't know how mates can be far from each other very far."

"Well, we won't be very far anymore. I'm enrolled and living in the male dorms." He smiled.

I couldn't contain the happiness that I felt inside, I quickly jumped on him wrapping my legs around his waist. He wrapped his arms around me tighter as we just stood there and caressed each other.

"I missed you." I confessed.

"I missed you too, babe." He said in my ear.

We pulled away from the hug just enough to look each other in the eyes, and we placed our lips together. Kissing in harmony.

Emily's POV

After I pulled Hunter away from Decebel and Kiara so they could spend a little time together, we found both of us sitting on the couch drinking some mixed drinks and talking to one of the girls who we're at the tour of the school.

"I didn't really introduce myself all that much, my names Ella." The girl smiled as she took a shot.

"Yeah, the situation earlier seemed a little hostile. I'm Emily." I smiled back.

"I'm Hunter. I didn't get to meet you earlier, so the pleasure is all mine." Hunter grabbed her hand and placed a small peck on top of it.

"Wow Hunter, very gentlemen like." I chuckled.

"As much as that was very gentlemen like, which I appreciate, don't do that again." Ella pulled her hand away.

"It was the right thing to do." Hunter shrugged.

Ella and I both laughed.

"Would you guys like a shot? This is some homemade stock that one of the mages make. Don't tell anyone though." Ella said poring the strange looking liquid.

"You know what they say, You only live once." I grabbed the shot off the table and threw it back.

Hunter did the same after making the cheers gesture. I started coughing and Hunter seemed like it didn't even faze him.

"This shit might kill me but the alcoholic in me tells me to drink more and stop being a little bitch." I said while trying to catch my breath.

Ella patted my back and I noticed Hunter was looking at this girl and guy standing over at one of the bars laughing.

"Whose the girl?" He asked, not taking his eyes off of her.

"Her? That's Morgan, my best friend. We've know each other for almost ever. Since we were pups." Ella looked over to Morgan proudly.

"What's the deal with the guy?" He looked the guy up and down.

"Oh, thats just Mave." Ella shrugged.

"He seemed kinda sketchy when he came to our door earlier." Hunter took a drink out of the cup he had been holding.

"Well, he's kinda hot if I'm being honest." I purred.

Ella let out a loud chuckle.

"You have to be fucking mad, woman." Hunter scoffed.

"There's something about Vampires that are SOOOOOO hot. I don't know why." I felt my heart melt just at the thought of vampires.

"There ain't nothing hot about some parasite sucking blood out of your neck... More like a leech." Hunter said annoyed.

Ella spit her drink out not expecting those words come out and I just gasped and looked at Hunter. Hunter slammed his cup down on the table and walked off into the other room.

"Is he usually that judge-mental?" Ella questioned.

"When you meet his brother, Decebel, you'll see why he is that way." I sighed.

"Anyways, tell me more about you. Any boyfriends, siblings?" Ella asked.

"No boyfriends, but I do have a older brothers who's off at college right now." I yawned.

"Oooooo. Is he hot?" Ella giggled.

"I mean.... he's my brother so... no." I coughed.

"I had to ask. I'm a single girl and there's something about the whole 'bad boy, walk alone, rogue males" that peeks my interest." She rubbed her neck.

"Assure you not, you'll probably end up meeting him. We've been pretty close before he left for college, so I'm sure he will be around." I winked.

We both looked over to see Hunter looking irritated at Mave and Morgan still, has she danced up against him.

"I have the perfect idea. WHO WANTS TO PLAY TRUTH OR DARE?!" Ella streamed.
