Chapter 48

Kiara's POV

Faith and I sat on the couch in the living room, ironically watching this show called "Vampire diaries." We're on season 3 of it, and funny enough Faith is so interested.

"Man, how cool would it be if this stuff was real?" She asked invested in the show.

"Yeah, it would definitely make things more interesting." I giggled.

"What would you be if the supernatural was real? I think I'd want to be a werewolf. It would be so cool to be able to transform." Faith smiled in my direction.

"I think I would want to be the same." I nodded my head.

Faith was about to start talking when I heard my phone start to ring. We both looked at it, the phone screen lit up a picture of Emily. I picked it up and noticed she was trying to FaceTime me.

"Hello?" I answered the FaceTime.

"GIRL!!! When you coming back? It's a disaster without you here." She pouted.

"Hold on, Emily? Are you at the library?" I gave her a questionable look.

"Yes! I need your help with vamp- Oh hey Faith.." She waved.

"Hey Emily." Faith waved back.

"Kiara, go to your bedroom and give me the answers for the homework." Emily wiggled her eyebrow.

"Ill be back Faith." I got up from the couch and headed upstairs towards my bedroom.

As I got to my room, I quickly closed the door.

"Emily, you have to be careful. Faith cant know anything." I quietly scolded her.

"Sorry. I'm not used to seeing humans in the pack house." She laughed.

"Now whats going on?" I asked, jumping on the bed.

"Long story short, I ran into that hunk of a vampire this morning. He proceeded to call me his woman, and when I confronted him about it, he told me to look into vampire bonding and then go find him." She frantically turned the page of the book she was holding.

"Calm down girl. I'm confused on what you need my help with?" I tried to process the information Emily just told me.

"What do you know about vampire bonding? I'm having a hard time finding it in any of these books and I've been searching hours bro. I'm wasting precious time." She seemed frustrated.

"Emily, I'm not a vampire. I know nothing about that." I replied.

She let out a groan before her head smacked down on the table.

"I guess I'll just keep looking." She rolled her eyes.

I let out a laugh.

"Anyways, how's Canada? Everything going okay with Alpha Blake knowing about Decebel and you?" She peaked her head up.

"Everything's going really good. Better than I expected it to." I shot a quick smile.

Emily just started looking at me through the phone with a strange look, like she was trying to figure out what she was looking at.

"What are you not telling me?" Emily asked, not changing the way she was looking.

"I'm not hiding anything.. what are you talking about?" I coughed.

"KIARA WOODS DON'T MAKE ME GET ON A PLANE AND COME BEAT IT OUT OF YOU. SPILL THAT TEA I KNOW YOU LYING." Emily yelled over the phone.

"I wanted to wait and tell you in person! Why do you do this to me." I huffed.
