Decebels POV
I opened the door to David's office to see him sitting at his desk, one hand pinching the bridge of his nose.
"You good David?" I laughed as I shut the door closed behind me.
"Oh, Decebel. I didn't even hear you come in the door. Please, have a seat." He stood from his chair and turned to open his safe.
I walked over to the chair in front of his desk and took a seat. He turned towards me, holding my dose. He walked around the desk and stood next to me. I held my arm out so he could inject it in my arm.
"How did the ultrasound go?" David asked as he pushed the black liquid in me.
I let out a small groan of pain before responding back,
"It went really well. Kiara is measuring fine and the baby is bigger than they expected. He or she is going to be one big baby."
"That's good to hear." David disposed of the needle.
"Actually, Victor and I have discussed things and I'm going to be putting together a big dinner for all of us. There's a lot that all of us need to catch up on, seeming we all have been out of touch for so long. Plus, Blake and Mia will be returning to Canada on Saturday." David sat back down in his chair.
"That should be nice." I placed my elbows on my knees.
"Yes, and I advise that you and Kiara should let everyone know about the pregnancy then. It would be the smart move to make at this point in time." David gave some advice.
"I would be lying if I said that I wasn't looking forward to that." I sighed, leaning back in my chair.
"With all of us there, I don't think there's a chance that Blake will kill you. At least right then." David laughed.
"Thanks, that's comforting." I rolled my eyes.
"Listen. They are going to be mad about it, you cant control that. But I'm sure that they will both still support both you and Kiara. You just cant keep things from them. Especially something this big." David leaned forward in his chair.
"We're going to tell them at dinner. I'll tell Kiara to bring copies of the ultrasound pictures." I nodded my head.
"Good, I'm glad to hear you're taking my advice." David started typing something on his computer.
"Well, while were on the topic. Why do you hate Victor so badly?" I questioned him.
"It's quite a long story." David sighed.
"I have time." I raised my brow.
He just looked at me for a second before he started to speak again.
"I'm not going to get into too much detail, but one big reason is Victor was the reason for my sisters death. He promised me that if she went off with him that he would always keep her safe. The disease and his irresponsible decision to let HOS take control, caused Bella to die and be taken from me for a very long time. For that, I have some resentment." David gave me a tiny bit of it.
"I see." I stood from my chair and walked over to leave the office. I opened the door and turned back to David.
"Now, let me give you some advice. Victor isn't such a bad guy. I'm sure you will learn sometime that you both actually like each other." I crossed my arms.
"It's not often that I get advice from a student." David laughed.
"I'm going to just leave you with this thought. One thing you should remember, The Howl of Sins is the reason for the death of Bella, but it's also the reason why she was brought back." I smirked before exiting the office and closing the door behind me.
