Chapter 70

Jamie's POV

When I put the fact that something seemed strange with Kiara and the conversation that went down in Dr. Ashley Steeles office, it all fit together like a puzzle and I needed answers. I disappeared and reappeared only to be in Kiara's dorm room. Kiara and Morgan were sitting on her bed, Kiara painting her nails as Morgan was reading some book. Both of their attention fell upon me once I appeared in front of her bed.

"Jamie?" Kiara looked nervous.

I didn't say anything but walked over to the side of the bed she was sitting on, and placed my hand on her stomach. I could feel the movement inside her and the DNA forming. I knew it.

"That boy is a dead man." I replied to her before disappearing back to Ashley's office.

Kiara's POV

"What the hell was that about?" Morgan looked confused at the events that took place.

"I'm dead." I couldn't remove the shock from my face.

"Why? What?" Morgan grew more confused by the minute.

"She knows." I looked at Morgan with tear filled eyes.

She looked at me for a minute and I rubbed my stomach and it seemed to click in her head.

"Oh no. What the hell did Decebel do?!" Morgan placed her hand on my back and began to make circles.

"He must have said something. He doesn't usually think before he speaks." I placed my head in my hand.

"It's going to be alright, Kiara."

Decebel's POV

It's been about 5 minutes from when Jamie disappeared from the room and the more time passed, I could feel my nerves building up.

"I swear, she better not be telling her parents." I was pacing the room.

"This is why it's a good trait to have to think before you make snarky remarks to people." David shrugged.

"You are DEAD." I heard Jamie's voice, as she appeared standing in front of me.

I through my hands up in the air and kept my attention on the very mad witch in front of me.

"Alright! That's ENOUGH." David used his Alpha voice.

"This is an important matter, yes. But this is not why I called you both here. We can figure this out after the ritual is over." David spoke, Jamie and I keeping eye contact.

Jamie broke the eye contact and turned to David.

"I must alert Blake about my findings." She nodded her head at David.

"No! You cant yet." I stepped forward.

"And why cant I?" Jamie looked back at me.

"Decebel?" David raised a brow.

"Let him speak, Alpha." Ashley looked invested in the conversation.

"Kiara and I were going to tell them after the first ultrasound. It was Kiara's wishes to keep it on the downlow, and I'm not going to go against her." I shrugged.

"You both should have been safe about that, and not only that you promise her father you both wouldn't have sex until the right time." Jamie argued.

I slumped back down in the chair in defeat.
