I shouldn't be as nervous as I've been feeling lately. Everything going on has been making me have so much anxiety, and sometimes it makes me think that maybe I regret doing this. At the same time, I have to remember that I need to get my families name out there. I need to finish my grandfathers legacy. He spent his whole life up until he had a heart attack at the age of 80, hunting down the next in line that possesses the Howl of Sins. Everyman in my moms side of the family spent years and years hunting Victor Johnson down, who was the original that possessed it, up until he disappeared. Then it hit a dead end. Until I discovered Decebel. I knew he was my purpose. Hunting and killing him was my purpose, and to also be known as one of the greatest Supernatural hunters that this world has ever seen. That's why I came to Alaska, because I knew it would be easier for me to get to Decebel. I just wish I didn't have to use Kiara as a pawn to get to him, because in reality, I really do love her. She was supposed to be mine, not his.

I heard the front door shut closed and it ripped me from my thoughts.

"What's up? Have the girls been quiet?" Mave set down some grocery bags on the kitchen floor.

"Relatively quiet. I checked in to make sure they were both still breathing, they are. Just sleeping." I shrugged and made my way to the kitchen.

"Good. I got some food to give the girls. We're gonna need them both alive for this to work, especially Kiara. I need that baby to be as healthy as can be." Mave started plating very little portions of fatty gas station food that was left over in the fridge.

"How have Hunter and Decebel not found us yet? Don't wolves have some weird telepathy shit?" I crossed my arms.

"Mated wolves have a mindlink where they can speak with each other through. Unmated they can not. That's why I have been giving Morgan some medicine that blocks that part of the mate bond. Kiara is unmarked." Mave explained.

"Be happy about that too. It's very hard to remove a mates mark, unless you know an original witch who practiced dark magic. Sadly, the only one I knew was killed. She was the best witch that ever lived, and she had a body like no other." His face grew disappointed.

"You're young. How do you know about an original dark magic witch?" I asked.

"You'd have to live under a rock if you didn't know who Lilith was." He chuckled and took out a Polaroid from his wallet.

"Wow. She's gorgeous." I looked closer at the picture.

"That she was. Too bad I didn't get to hit it, although I heard she was really into trying to get with the Alpha of the pack she was associated with a long time ago." He grabbed the picture back and shoved it in his wallet.

"Anyways, off of that discussion. You were deep in thought when I came in." He raised his brow.

"Yeah, just was thinking about everything. Also, there's something I wanted to run by you." I slipped into the barstool to sit.

He just raised his eyebrow staring at me.

"Ava wants to go back to Canada for a week to meet my family, I wanted to run it by you. I know there's a lot of responsibility watching those two." I asked, nervous of what the answer would be.

"Go ahead." He shrugged.

"Really?" I looked at him confused.

"Yeah, although there's some conditions." He smirked.

"What are they?" I grabbed a beer from the new case on the counter.

"For one, you need to limit where you both go. We can't risk you being around any of the Darkened Night Howlers. Two, Ava can't know anything about this. Three, if something goes wrong here, you need to immediately come back. No matter what you are doing." He laid it down.

"What am I suppose to say when I need to just get up and go?" I asked him, pinching the bridge of my nose.

"You're gonna have to figure something out. I'm gonna be giving you some potion to drink. It will immediately transfer you back here." He reached in the cabinet and handed me a vile.

"Okay." I grabbed it.

"When are you leaving?" He questioned.

"A couple days." I sighed.

"Sounds good. Before you leave, make sure you burn those clothes and go buy some new ones to wear. You don't want to smell like Kiara or Morgan." He grabbed the plates off of the counter and started walking down the hall.

"Will do."

Hazel's POV

Ella and I were in Kiara's room looking around to see if we could find anything. It's so weird that we have legitimately found nothing that could help us find where they are. Or even help us try to communicate with them.

"You found anything sus, Haz?" I heard Ella going through one of the drawers of Kara's vanity.

"Nothing yet." I huffed.

I heard another drawer slide open.

"There's a weird scroll in this drawer." Ella spoke.

Something washed over me, it felt dark. Before I knew it my whole body did a 180 and my hand reached out in front of me.

"DONT TOUCH IT!" A growl came out of my chest as a sheet of fire blocked the opened drawer.

"What the hell???" Ella looked at me in shock.

"I'm sorry, I don't know what just came over me." I pulled my hand to my chest slowly as I walked over to look at the fire shielded drawer.

"I've never seen anything like that." She looked back to the drawer.

"I've never done anything like that before. It felt like a body response that I couldn't control." I explained.

"Do you think that could help us?" She asked.

"No. I get a bad feeling about that scroll. I wouldn't touch it, I would leave it be." I said as I closed the drawer and the flames went away.

Just when Ella was about to speak again, we heard the bedroom door fly open to see a very distraught Hunter panting.

"Hunter? Is everything okay?" Ella stood from her seat. Both of us just looking at him.

"It's Decebel." He spoke frantically.

"What about him?" I spoke up.

"He mindlinked me. He's dying. WE CANT LET MY BROTHER DIE!!" He started to panic.

"We need to alert David." Ella spoke firmly.

"David won't do anything. It's not his jurisdiction." I shrugged.

"No, but I know someone who can help. We need to go to Canada." Hunter spoke in thought.

"I'll go see if Rylee will help us with the plane. Hazel, you go and pack us some clothes. Hunter, just try to relax." Ella took charge of the situation.

"We meet back in front of the dorms in a half hour." I spoke before I sped off to quickly get essentials.

We're going to Canada.
