Victor's POV

The day has come. This is something that I thought was overcome, something that wouldn't be something this pack would do anymore. One thing I can say, this pack doesn't learn from history. Bella's arm was interlocked with mine as we stepped into the Curia, or now a days it would be called a court room. We were seated in one of the balconies that was on the side of the room, above every other seats in the room. I pulled out one of the chairs and guided my beautiful mate to her chair. We watched as the room started filling up with pack members.

"You're going to get gray hair if you keep stressing like that, amore." I kissed her forehead.

"Are you saying you wouldn't like me to have a gray hair?" She raised a brow.

"You could be bald and I would still think you are the most beautiful being on this planet." I smiled.

"Here I thought you were just saying that to me so I would help you escape." She giggled.

"Me? Use you? No amore, only place I would use you is in the bedroom." I winked.

"Can you both not?" Fane and his little human walked onto the balcony.

"What are you both doing up here?" Bella questioned them.

"Why wouldn't we be?" Fane shrugged.

"You smarten that fucking mouth up." I slapped Fane upside the head.

"Ouch." He rubbed where I smacked him and his girlfriend giggled.

"Now, pull a chair out for your lady. I don't want to hear you speak to your grandmother like that again." I leaned over the balcony.

"Sorry gram." I heard him pull out the chair.

"It's okay honey. Victor, it's just the way the kids are now a days." Bella brushed it off.

"Yeah, cause this generation is straight up disrespectful." I rolled my eyes.

"He's a little tough." Faith whispered to Fane.

"Sweetheart, you have much to learn. Supernatural hearing." I chuckled as I turned to her.

"Sorry sir." She slouched in the chair.

"Don't pay attention to the grouch dear." Bella smiled.

"It's a party up here." Emily's giggle filled our ears.

"That's enough Emily." Damon followed behind her.

"Damon, it's been a long time since I've seen you on grounds, my friend." I shook his hand before following me over to the edge of the balcony.

"Faith? What are you doing here?" Emily said in a confused tone.

"She knows." Was all Fane said.

"I must say, I wish I would have known sooner. I'm absolutely in LOVE WITH THIS." Faith gushed.

"You might regret saying that. There's much more to it then the fur." Damon chuckled.

"Yeah, and it involved the fucking piece of shit that's Alpha." I could feel my anger steaming off of me.

"Beef already? I like to see its someone more than David." Damon commented.

"Although, I will say he's intimidating."

"I will say this, I love the smell of fear." I sniffed the air as I looked over to Faith.

"Cut it out." Bella laughed.

Faith scooted closer to Fane and I couldn't help but let out a laugh.

"Can't say I didn't miss this place." He chuckled.
