Kiara's POV

My party was a good outcome of people. Usually in packs cultures that the whole pack was suppose to get together for gatherings such as an importance as the Alpha family, but as for our pack, we have a lot more dangers than normal. I guess that comes with being the #1 most dangerous rogue pack there is. The most important thing is that my family and close friends were able to attend and be here.

"I'm so surprised that your father let Fane bring a human to the pack house." Emily sipped on her drink.

"What would happen if she found out about us?" Hazel asked.

"Well, I can take a wild guess and say my father only allowed it because Fane told him that I would compell her to forget that she ever found out about it." I shrugged.

"Well that's handy to have." Hazel giggled.

I looked over at Fane and the girl he brought over. I saw her laughing out of control while Fane was in a fight stance as he held a piece of paper in his hand. For some reason, the paper thing never died with My grand father Daniel or my father. At least it got passed down through him. A piece of paper wont help anything.

"She is a cute girl." I smiled.

"That's probably the happiest I've seen Fane in a while." Emily continued.

"Now, its just to get miss Kiara happy." Hazel winked.

"Ohhhhh yeaaaaah. The boys are coming today." Emily rubbed her hands together.

"I forgot about that." I sighed loud.

"You know you'll be happy to see Decebel." Emily winked.

I just slammed my head down on the table to try to think about how this day would play out.

"I did look through some of Jamies books last night to see if I could figure out why that wolf could have smelled like that. Although... I found nothing." Hazel shrugged.

"Unless.. It could mean he's toxic and bad for you!" Emily smacked my arm.

I looked up from the table and looked at both of them smugly.

"Well, if the smell I was smelling was coming from my mate, I don't think he would be toxic or bad for me... Could he?" I looked at both of the girls concerned.

They just both stared back at me awkward, not knowing what to say.

"I hate everything." I smacked my head.

"I'm going to see if my mother needs any help." I put my hands up in defeat as I walked towards the house and they both just laughed at me.

Decebels POV

I could feel the stress wave rolling over me as we were walking towards the front gate. I decided last minute that I should probably dress somewhat decent to form some kind of trust between the pack members and Kiara's parents. I decided to dress in a light pink button up long sleeve and some black jeans. Might not be the best but beggers cant be choosers.

"You good man?" Hunter asked as we were walking up to the gate.

"Yeah, I'm good man." I replied as I finished my cigarette.

"You ready to start this thing? Remember, 'it's your responsibility." Hunter mocked mother.

"Dude, I've been ready. She trained me for this my whole life. If I wasn't prepared to do this after 17 years of training and 19 years of her filling my head with this shit, I would never be ready. Plus, if I get laid in the process, score." I shrugged.
