Mia's POV

Austin shown Blake and I up to Davids office to wait for the arrival of David and Miles to come speak with us about the kids. Davids office was so professional, and at the same time so elegant. Anyone walking in here would know that this place was built for Royalty.

"This is one impressive office." Blake said in an amazed look.

"There's a reason why their last name is Royal." I giggled.

Blake sat down in one of the chairs and let out a big sigh.

"What's going on baby?" I placed my hand on his shoulder.

"I'm just stressed out. I'm trying my hardest to keep the pack and the kids safe. I just think that sometimes I'm not keeping up the legacy that Victor left behind." He confessed.

"Hey, hey. Don't ever doubt yourself. Know that my father would be happy with how secure you've made this pack. We just need to continue with what were doing to keep this pack going strong. Just with a few minor set backs but it will all workout in the end." I reassured my mate.

"Victor just worked so hard and has done so much for this pack to be where it is. I just don't want to screw up any of his hard work." He answered.

"We got this baby. We have gotten thousands of more members. You have to be proud of how strong we have gotten this pack so far." I smiled.

"Have I ever told you that you are literally the best mate anyone could ever ask for?" He smiled back.

I placed a kiss on his cheek and shown him a smile and thats when we heard the door to the office open and see David and Miles enter the room.

"Blake Woods." David greeted.

He looked at me up and down and you could see the anger and frustration in his face.

"Where did you get those?!" David pointed at the circlets I was wearing.

"What are you talking about?" I said confused as to why he would be talking about them.

"I swear, if you stole those I will not hesitate to end you!" David screamed back at me, while Miles had a hold on his arm.

"EXCUSE ME?! You did not just threaten my mate!" Blake argued back.

"I never stole anything! Can you both just shut up and explain what the hell is going on?" I tried to yell over the both of them.

"David, you really need to calm down sir." Miles spoke.

"Where did you get those circlets!?" David demanded to know.

"They were m-" I started before being interrupted.

"Mia, you don't owe any explanation." He stopped me.

"Will you shut up and let me speak!" I yelled back at Blake.

I took a big sigh before starting again,

"They were my mothers."

"Your mothers?" He looked shocked and confused at the same time.

"What was your maiden name..?" David questioned.

"What's going on?" Miles asked.

"That's what I would surely like to know." Blake added.

"My maiden name is Johnson. Bella and Victor Johnson are my mother and father. I am the rightful Alpha to the Darkened Night Howlers." I shrugged.

"Mia?! They found you?!" David gasped.
