Kiara's POV

Can I just say this? I'm already over Emily being at this new school. Ive been walking all over this campus and in the old style halls where classes are being held, looking for this ridiculous girl. We had this thing, back at our old high school. When we got bored we would usually play hide and seek. We haven't even been here that long, so I don't know how to expects me to find her in this enormous campus.

"EMILY I'M SO TIRED OF YOU! This isn't the right time to play hide and seek. I don't even know this school yet." I smacked my head.

I started walking down the hallway, not really much paying attention to the trail I was going, but more of the fact taking in scenery of this beautiful campus. I was quickly snapped out of my thoughts when I felt like I ran into a wall. I stumbled back and fell on my back. I looked up to see a not so impressed girl standing in front of me, not even looking fazed at the fact I just ran into her. Or not even concerned about me falling over and looking like a complete fool. I stood up and brushed myself off before frantically speaking.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry. I wasn't paying attention to where I was going... oh. You're Davids granddaughter. Listen, I know you didn't seem very pleased earlier and I'm really sorry if I done anything to rub off the wrong way."

"I am ALPHA Davids granddaughter for one. And for two, the names Morgan. Show some respect to your higher ranked." She snapped.

"We were always told to just call him David.." I shyly rubbed my arm.

"You rogues are all the same." She scuffed her nose.

"With all due respect, shouldn't you respect allies to your pack..?" I tried my best to have patience within the situation.

I could see the annoyance all over Morgans face. I never understood where her hatred comes from or why shes been so hostile towards me. Morgan took a step closer to me as I saw her eyes start to have a faint glow to them.

"Kiara Woods, I need you to stay as far away from me as possible. Don't look at me, don't come near me, hell, don't even breath near me."

I noticed what she was trying to do. I let out a little giggle.

"I cant be compelled. I respect the effort though."

"Wait.. How?! Are you vampire? I cant sense it on you." Morgan looked absolutely confused.

"Actually, I'm not. I am a full blooded werewolf. I am the first one to actually contain the power to compel myself." I smiled.

We both just stood and stared at one another for a minute.

"I've never seen anyone else with purple eyes." Morgan made an observation.

"Now that I think of it, I haven't either." I rubbed my chin.

"Anyhow, I'm sorry we got off on the wrong foot. In the future, I promise to leave you alone.." I looked down at my feet.

"No, no. I'm sorry. I assumed some stuff about you and I shouldn't have." Morgan rubbed her neck.

"Well, if Selene has taught me anything, it's forgiveness." I smiled.

"Selene?" She said in thought.

I choked up.

"I'm very religious.."

"Oh, you're that kind of girl." She let out a laugh.

"Is that.. bad?" I looked down to my feet.

"No, but I can probably guess that you're the girl that goes to church every Sunday and never says a single swear." Morgan joked around.
