Chapter 66

Decebels POV

"That's all I need to do? Bring him back? I didn't even know I could do something like that." I said in shock.

"Yeah, it's a very interesting discovery, isn't it." David rubbed his chin.

"Seeming you knew what he was talking about, you must know of how to summon him after making Hellbroth." I felt a weight lifted off of my shoulders.

"I might know a lot of things, Decebel. This, I do not know. If it's within your contract, and it's one of the scribes that is bound to you, I will surely know nothing of it. Just like I know very little about your disease." David explained.

"So what you're saying is, I'm on my own. Right back to square one." I groaned.

"On your own? No. We're probably going to want an original witch present during those times. But with this being somewhere in the contracts guidelines, it should be like second nature. You probably just need to dig deep inside for the information, and it may only come to you when the time is needed." David shuffled through his drawer.

David pulled out his phone.

"What is your cell number? I need to be able to call you when everything is in place for the summoning." David held his phone out.

I grabbed his phone and typed my number into a contact, and hit save. I handed David his phone back and he just nodded his head at me. I stood to my feet and started to walk towards the door to exit the room, but once at the door I looked back to David.

"David?"

"Yes, Decebel?" He looked up from his phone.

"I would appreciate it if you wouldn't mention anything to Blake or Mia yet." I nodded my head to him.

"I may be a man of great order, but I have a soft spot for Kiara. She is my great niece after all." David chuckled.

"Thank you." I nodded my head again, and exited his office.

Jamie's POV

It's been a really uneventful day within the Darkened Night Howlers, and its honestly a little strange. We haven't had any issues with any shipments or any unauthorized wolves coming on the territory. But with this being said, it makes for a good day to just sit and relax with the girls. Just like old times, me, Hailey, Mia, Amelia, and Reagan. We all stayed close to each other, even with all the busy pack responsibilities we all still make time together. All of us was sitting in the living room, watching TV and sitting around with glasses of wine. Except for Mia seeming she is very much pregnant.

"I cant even remember when the last time we all were able to relax and drink some heavenly wine." Reagan sipped on the wine glass.

"I cant say when the last time I even had wine, pregnancy sucks and thats the last time I'm going through it." Amelia laughed.

"How is the baby girl doing?" Hailey questioned Amelia.

"She's doing amazing. Toby is an amazing father. He always gives me some time to myself and will take the baby. It's one of the many things I love about that man." Amelia gushed.

"Toby is a good man. Always has been and will do anything for family." Mia smiled.

"How's the pregnancy going with you?" Reagan looked over to Mia.

"As much as I love this, I'm so ready for them to come. Being pregnant with not just one baby, but three is exhausting." Mia sighed.

"My brothers really going to lose his head when those sweet girls come. How did he get so blessed to have 4 girls and one boy?" Amelia laughed.

"Oh he's a big baby. He will be just fine. At least Kiara has Decebel taking care of her and Fane is independent for the most part. So really, its just these three girls coming that's gonna put his work in." Mia responded.

"Speaking of Kiara's mate, what have you and Blake thought of him?" I shrugged, looking over to Mia.

"I think he's a good young man. It took a little bit for Blake to come around, but with Kiara and Decebel both spending time here over spring break, he's opened up with him more and coming around." Mia looked happy.

"Toby said he ran into him a couple times, and for some reason, Toby seems suspicious about him. He hasn't given any reason why though." Amelia added in.

"Oh please, Toby is suspicious about everyone. I mean, I cant blame him after the shit with Jackson for all them years." Hailey shrugged.

"This is a strange world we live in, even with the imbalance thats been taking place. Something isn't right in the supernatural world. And honestly, I think something drastic is coming. Whether good or bad, I have no idea." I thought out loud.

"Good or bad, this pack is ready for it." Mia reassured.

A bright white light flashed and we all turned out attention over to the left side of the room, to only see David appear before us.

"David Royal, you cant blame me anymore about coming unannounced." I shot a smirk to him.

"Well, as long as I've dealt with this pact, there has never been any formalities." David laughed.

Mia struggled to get up from the couch before she walked over and gave David a hug.

"You're always welcome to pop in David. You know that." Mia embraced him.

"Same goes to you, my dear." David replied.

"What's the meaning for your visit?" Blake spoke from inside the doorway, before entering the room.

"I don't have too many details about things right this second, but I was coming to see Jamie to see if I could get more of a shipment of Nightshade. I would need more than normal and as soon as you possibly could. I will also need Jamies help over the next few days, and would love to offer you to come stay on the academy royal suites in one of the extra rooms for a few days." David sat down in the recliner.

"I could get your shipment and as much of it as you need. As for staying at the academy, it is possible but if Mia goes into labor, I am leaving no matter the circumstances. My pack comes before anything else." I nodded my head.

"I understand that. It would be much appreciated for your help. Would you mind that, Blake?" David looked over to our Alpha.

"It's been quiet here and nothings really been happening, so I don't see why not. I know Jamie will be here in a heartbeat if we need her here." Blake nodded his head towards David, before walking off down the hall.

"It's settled then. Jamie, your room should be ready for your arrival. I must head back to the academy. I have to go check on some students and finish doing some paperwork." David replied before he was gone, no faster than when he came.

"This should be interesting." I spoke out loud before I headed to go get my bags packed.
