Kiara's POV
"Excuse me, YOU INVITED WHO!" I raised my voice at Emily.
"Oh, come on Kiara. They said they wanted to come apologize." Emily slapped her head.
"What about the fact they bully MY BROTHER." I argued.
"They want to apologize to Fane as well." Hazel added in.
"You cant believe them." I dropped the box I was holding.
"They have always bullied Fane, what makes you say that they wont do it more? I'm not trying to bring fights into my home and our packhouse." I threw my hands up.
"Well, somethings got you all worked up." Selene walked out of the temple office.
I looked at my grandmother and sighed. I looked back over at Emily and saw her waving, while Hazel looks like she's seen a ghost.
"Hazel, are you alright?" I asked.
Emily looked at Hazel and then started giggling.
"Yeah, it shocked me the first time too." Emily replied.
"How... HOW?!" She said in shock.
"I can channel Selene, she's my grandmother. Well, great grandmother. I thought I was the only one who could see her but that was until I learned I can channel her for other people as well. Hence, why you can see her too." I shrugged.
"It's nice to meet you Hazel. Ive heard a lot about you." Selene smiled.
"It's nice to meet you." Hazel said as she bowed her head.
"If you don't mind me asking, what part of the supernatural world are you from? I can sense you are not a werewolf." Selene thought out loud.
"Well, I am a hell hound." Hazel smiled.
"Wait, what?!" I looked at Hazel.
"That's so cool!!" Emily screamed.
"Kiara, don't judge people on who they are." Selene replied.
"Anyways, what are you freaking out about?" Selene questioned.
"Well, Ms. Duncan here decided to invite these two boys to my party this weekend, fully knowing that they both bully Fane." I rolled my eyes.
"In my defense, they want to apologize. Anddddd... Kiara might have a little crush on one of them." Emily raised her eyebrows.
"Emily Lynn Duncan! WHY do you need to tell everyone I have a crush!" I slapped her arm, yet again.
"If they want to apologize, why not let them have that chance?" Selene looked at me, totally ignoring the fact my best friend just told her I had a crush.
"Because they've never stopped before." I defended myself.
"What have the temple and I taught you?" Selene asked.
I let out a big sigh.
"To spread faith and always keep forgiveness in my heart."
"That's right." Selene smiled.
"Okay, but I swear if they do anything to hurt Fane, they will be your responsibility Em." I pointed my finger at Emily.
"Okay." Emily winked.
"Have I ever told you how exhausting you are?" I held my head in defeat.
Everyone just let out a laugh.
