Chapter 38

I was walking down this darkened hallway, only a tiny amount of light coming from the end of the hallway. As I walked closer and closer to where the light was coming from, I heard the sound of a cackling fire burning. This hallway seemed familiar, but in a way strange. I got to the end of the hallway to see a stairwell that seemed to keep going down forever until it reached the darkness. That's when I saw a wolf with glowing red eyes and a white pupil standing down at the bottom of the stairs. Aeshma.

"Decebel, come my child." He spoke.

"What do you want from me?" I said, still standing at the top of the stairs.

"You know what this is about. I cant be trapped in that cage forever, you know? It would be a very wise choice to just let me out sooner." He pleaded.

"I don't want you to hurt Kiara." I hesitated.

"Hurt her? You saw how gentle I was with her, I could never hurt the precious angel. Just let me out." Aeshma pushed the subject.

"NO! You need to stay locked away! This isn't the fucking time!" I screamed.

"DECEBEL! HELP ME!! IT HURTS!!" I heard Kiara scream from down in the darkness.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO HER!?" I yelled.

"It's not me to be worried about Decebel. Time will tell, but the only way to help her is to let me handle things. Just remember that." The wolf faded into the darkness.

"KIARA!"

Decebel's POV

I shot up while holding my chest. I looked over to see Kiara still peacefully sleeping. My eyes wondered down her body and I noticed that her nightgown was pulled up and her white lace underwear was showing. I grabbed the blanket and covered her up, I made my way to lay a kiss on her cheek and I pulled myself out of bed and into the bathroom. I made my attention over to the clock and the time read 4:43am.

"Shit. Why does the time go so fast? I feel like I haven't even slept." I leaned over the sink.

"Decebel? Is everything okay?" Kiara spoke.

I looked over to see a sleepy Kiara standing in the doorway, rubbing her eyes while yawning.

"Yeah, just had a nightmare. I'm okay though. You shouldn't be out of bed." I spoke softly while walking over to her.

"I could feel the absence of your presence and it woke me up." She looked up at me.

I looked down into her eyes and then moved down to her lips. I gently caressed her face in my hands and pulled her lips into mine. She melted into the kiss, I moved one of my hands down to her thigh and in one swift motion, I picked her up and she wrapped her legs around my waist. I carried her over to the bed and gently laid her down, not removing her legs from being around me.

"Kiara, I crave you so badly." I said in between kisses.

She stopped kissing me and looked into my eyes.

"Did I say something wrong?" I questioned.

"No, you didn't say anything wrong. It's just so nice to know how much you want me. It makes my heart flutter." She smiled.

"Have you seen yourself? You're the definition of everything someone would want. Not to mention, you're probably the most beautiful girl I've ever laid my eyes on." I placed a kiss on her lips.
