Decebel's POV

I walked out of Davids office and started my decent down the hallway into the Foyer of the building that I was in. As I walked I held the locked box in my hands, trying to figure out what could possibly be in it. I gazed at the detail that surrounded the box, the gold vine looking accent that covered it.

"Hey Dec." Hunter grunted limping down the hall towards me.

"Hunt, how's your leg?" I gazed my attention towards him.

"It's alright. It's healing. I actually wanted to thank you, a lot of people after you left were shocked at how you were able to keep up with that vampire fuck." Hunter chuckled.

"He's tough, I'll give him that. I'd fight anyone if I needed to though. But I should be thanking you. I almost triggered fully, and I got to get some of my anger out on that fucker." I chuckled back.

"How did the talk with David go? Haven't even been here that long and you've already been handcuffed." He shrugged.

"It went well. He's actually.. helping me with my medicine issue." I coughed.

"What? Really?" Hunter looked shocked.

"Apparently he knows my kind." I rubbed my neck.

"Alright. I wasn't expecting that." Hunter made a wow gesture with his mouth.

"Wasn't expecting what?" We heard Morgans voice creeping up on us.

"Didn't know you were the nosy type." I rolled my eyes.

"What's with the jewelry box? Who did you steal it from?" She raised an eyebrow.

"It was a gift actually." I scoffed.

"Oh, you're on the gay shit." She laughed.

"Shut the fuck up Morgan." I growled.

"Cut it out." Hunter slapped my arm.

"I came to see how Hunter was feeling. That was a nasty break." Morgan looked at Hunter with some concern.

I looked over at Hunter and the look on his face was almost nervous. He looked like he didn't know how to make words come out his mouth. Morgan looked confused after he didn't say anything.

"Cat got your tongue?" Morgan laughed.

"I gotta go." Hunter quickly sped off.

"What's his problem?" I questioned.

"I don't know but that kinda answered my question about how his legs doing." Morgan shrugged.

"I'm gonna go catch up to him." I started to walk off before Morgan spoke,

"Even though I don't like you, great technique today. You should work on your anger though."

"You weren't there?" I glanced at her.

"What a big boy cant handle a wolf like me?" She smirked.

"You were the one that called to David?" I turned my body towards her.

"Of course. I'm grampas girl." She winked.

"Even though I don't like you, I must thank you." I walked down the hallway.

Kiara's POV

I laid on the bed in my beautiful new room that housed me. I was still in awe about the meaning behind this room and how gorgeous it was. I can't believe this used to be my grandmothers room. I'm sleeping on the same bed that she used to. I'm happy with how things are going so far and how I've been able to work on the bond with my handsome mate. Although, Decebel and I are so close, he still feels so far away. I wish I was able to sleep next to him and wake up to see him as soon as my eyes awaken.
