Kiara's POV

Emily took Hunter to the other room to give me and Decebel some alone time. It hasn't been too long since we last talked to each other, but a few days as your mate bond is getting stronger, feels like a lifetime away from each other.

"I didn't expect to see you so soon. If I would have known, I wouldn't have dressed so casual." I looked down at myself.

"No matter what you wear you look just as gorgeous... Although, I'd probably like it better if you wore nothing at all." He looked me up and down before winking at me.

I just gasped at the words that came out of his mouth and smacked him in the arm. Decebel let out a chuckle,

"I'm kidding.. not really."

"Flattering, but try to keep it PG-13, yeah?" I blushed and looked into the other.

"Alright, alright." He through his hands up in defeat.

"Was the drive long?" I asked while sitting on the small couch.

Decebel sat down next to me and put his arm around me. I turned towards him so I could look at the handsome man that he was.

"It was cold, we went through some rain but we drove straight through. Hunter and I decided that we wanted to bring our bikes instead of my car. A little easier on gas and it makes for one hell of a trip." He explained.

"I hope you dressed better than that for the ride. You're gonna catch your death out there on that thing." I shown concern.

"Now you're starting to sound like my wolves. Of course I did. Although, I don't get sick to often." He let out a laugh.

"Wolves..?" I asked confused.

Decebel started coughing aggressively.

"Wolf. Sorry, sometimes I say things wrongly." He rubbed his neck.

I just looked at him with an eyebrow raised. Decebel started to act a little nervous.. Wait. Is he actually nervous right now?

Decebels POV

Fuck. I did not mean to say wolves. I'm a fucking idiot.

"She's a smart girl. I don't think she's going to buy that shit." Axel said.

I was sitting here staring at Kiara, trying to think about the next move to make.

"Are you alright?" She rubbed her neck.

"Yeah.. Why do you ask?"

"You just seem... Nervous now. Plus, your eyes are starting to change color." She coughed.

"Smart girl you got D. Times ticking and if you don't want me to come out you're gonna have to get a fix in." Aeshma, my HOS contract wolf, spoke firmly.

"Listen, there's some things that I can't talk about with you right now.. You could say that I'm bounded into a contract. There will come a time where I would be able to speak more upon, but the time isn't now." I looked into Kiara's eyes.

"I understand. I'll be here when you're ready to talk to me about anything." She smiled.

I have never met anyone who has been so patient and understanding. It's kind of nice for a change.

"Don't forget about your responsibility." Axel spoke again.

I let out a sigh.

"Who could have known that I would have such a hot mate." I smirked at her.
