Decebels POV

"Oh, good to see you're right on time. David should be ready for you." Austin sat behind a desk, buzzing the door to let me in one of the secured hallways.

I pulled the door open and made my way down the hall. This hallway was only connected to one room and that was Davids office. I come down here maybe once a day or sometimes once every other day. I haven't been missing my doses and been keeping up with them. I will say, it seems to be helping more and more as time goes on but once my body craves more, we move up a phase. I'm currently on phase 4 out of the 12 doses. David told me I will probably never get up to phase 12, and if I was to be able to stand how strong it would be, it would take centuries. I came up to the end of the hall where Davids door stood. I turned the handle and pushed it open to see David sitting at his desk, reading one of the many books that he has.

"Decebel, don't you know you should knock before entering a room?" He raised his eyebrow, not taking his focus from the book.

"I'm trying to work on that, but hey. It's not in my nature." I pulled the chair out that sat across from him and plopped myself down.

"How is the phase treating you?" He asked, closing his book then folding his hands together in his chest.

"It's working well, for now. I can feel its starting to feel less potent as time goes on." I shrugged.

"Mhm." David turned around and punched in the code for the safe and pulled out a full syringe.

"We're going to keep you on phase 4 for now, however, once this really stops taking the affects, we will be bumping it to phase 5." David stood up and walked around his desk over to where I sat.

I rolled my sleeve up and prepared myself for the fire liquid that was being injected into my arm. I groaned in pain as the needle emptied in my arm.

"Sad to say this, it will never get easier." David laughed, disposing of the needle he held.

"I'm not a pussy. I'll be fine." I rubbed my arm.

"If thats all you needed, you should be headed to classes." David sat back down in his chair and grabbed the book he was reading.

"Actually, there was one thing else I wanted to talk to you about." I sat up, placing my elbows on my knees.

"Go ahead." He looked up.

"It's about the circlet jewelry you made that Mia is currently wearing." I shrugged.

"What about it?" He crossed his arms.

"Do you craft other jewelry?" I questioned.

"Stop beating around the bush. You have me intrigued. Why are you asking about this?" He raised his eyebrows.

"Would you be able to craft me a promise ring for Kiara?" I rubbed my neck nervously.

"You do know that there are jewelry stores around here that could help with that." David chuckled.

"Oh yeah. Let me just walk my ass in a jewelry store and ask them if they will put my HOS blood in a gem and then put it in a ring." I rolled my eyes.

"You wanna put your blood in a ring to give to my niece?" Davids face went blank, not removing the eye contact.

"Yeah. She's not ready to mark, and I'm willing to wait until she is. Although, I still want her to wear something with my blood contained inside of it. I want my scent on her at all times." I crossed my arms.

"Yeah, I don't see why I couldn't do that. Although, I haven't done this in such a LONG time." David looked in thought.

"That was easier than I expected it to be." I laughed.
