Emily's POV
I don't know if I have ever realized how big this academy actually is until this moment. And honestly, this whole 'vampire bond' thing is a strange thought. Like, could I have actually found my mate at the age of 16 almost 17? How does a wolf even end up with a vampire mate? This all was just so confusing. And to know that he has had more than one over his life span is a little unsettling.
"How hard could it be to find a vampire?! Damn. He's probably sleeping in his coffin or something. The fuck." I through my hands up.
I started to walk over to a bench that graced the wall, and sat down to take a rest from walking all over hell. My phone began to rang and a name flashed on my screen that I would have never expected.
"Cyrus?! Oh my god. How are you doing? How's college." I said excitedly.
"Hey little sis. Everything's going well, I was actually calling to see if you would like me to come take a visit to the academy? I would love to see you, it's been waaaaay too long." I could hear the smile on his face.
"That would be awesome. It would be great seeing you, it would be like old times." I responded.
"Sounds good, I'll be up there in a couple days. I have a couple more classes then I'm on a little break. I got to get off the phone now, I have to go to my business class." He spoke over the phone proudly.
"Okay, I'll see you then. I love you." I smiled, before I hung the phone up.
"Miss Emily, I didn't think I would see you so soon." Damon chuckled as he walked down the hall towards me.
"Oh, so you knew it would take me forever to find out, how sweet of you." I rolled my eyes.
"Yes, although I love you is a very serious term. I would hate to know if you throw that saying out to just anyone." He sat next to me, not taking his gaze from me.
"If you must know, that was my brother." I crossed my arms, with a slight smirk.
"Well, I'm glad to know you have a good bond between families." He smiled.
"Back to better conversation, you could have just told me about the vampire bonding. Instead of making me waste two days of my break. We start back up tomorrow, and with being put on bathroom duty, this hasn't been a break. I mean, have you seen the boys bathroom in this place? I will just say, they need to work on their hygiene. It smelt and looked like a port-a-potty after a rock concert. Let me tell you, DISASTER!" I rambled on.
"You're quite adorable." He smirked.
"Has the wood to your coffin effected your hearing? YOU WASTED TWO DAYS OF MY BREAK, YOU OWE ME!" I repeated.
"I know you didn't just apply that I sleep in a coffin." He let out a loud laugh.
"I did, and until I see otherwise, you still do." I crossed my arms.
"I'm sure one of these days, you'll find out that I don't." Damon winked.
I could feel the heat rushing to my cheeks, I knew I was starting to blush. And I ain't gonna let this man get the satisfaction. I quickly stood up and took a step before he started to speak again.
"Where did you get this picture?" He asked, I turned around to see him holding up the polaroid I found the other day.
"I found it on the ground the other day. Actually, I've been meaning to talk to someone about it because if someone drugged me up and dressed me to take that photo, shit is about to go down." I threw my fists up.
I looked back at Damon and he was just looking at the photo with a slight smile.
"Ummm.. Hello? Earth to Vamp man?" I crossed my arms.
