Chapter 5

Decebel's POV

All you could hear is loud music bumping throughout Ava's house. There was so many people here. There were people from our school and some people that were from different towns.

"Hey big boy." I heard a girl say to me.

"Do I know you?" I asked.

"No, but would you like to? My names Julie." She rubbed my arm.

"I mean do I have a choice?" I laughed while she looked at me annoyed.

"Look, tell me where you're from. Tell me some information about you." Julie rambled.

That's when something pulled me out of my thoughts and it felt like I couldn't hear anything going on around me. I could see this Julie girls lips moving but I couldn't hear a word she was saying. This intoxicating smell just washed all over me, and its all I could smell. It smacked me dead in the face and I couldn't put my finger on it. It smells like Lavender with a very small hint of Roses. I'm not one to enjoy sniffing flowers or flowers in general, but this smell is a smell I would want to smell every second of my life.

"HEY!!" Julie yelled.

"Jesus! Listen, I would love to sit here and chat more but I have something I need to go do. If you want someone to chat with, my brother Hunter is here. He's a little shorter than I am so just look for another tall guy." I said before walking towards this intoxicating smell.

I was walking throughout the house searching and searching for the smell. I keep getting close but I cant seem to tell where the scent was located. I left the house into the backyard near the pool and I found where the smell is coming from.. It was this beautiful platinum blonde babe. I couldn't see her face because she was turned around facing the other direction. She was wearing a purple dress that looked great on her figure.

"We might have a mate after all." Axel sent through the link.

"Well, lets go talk to her." I purred.

I walked over to this goddess of a girl.

"Hey baby." I placed my hand on her shoulder.

"Excuse me?" I heard a familiar voice and that's when she turned around.

"Kiara?!" I said hesitantly.

"That's my name, why do you look so confused?" She questioned.

I could feel my eyes starting to glow red.

"Why.. are your eyes red?" She looked at me nervous.

"I got to go." I went to turn around to walk away and I felt her hand grab my arm.

"Are you alright Decebel?" She asked.

I just looked into her eyes and walked away towards the exit.

"Hunter, meet me outside. NOW!" I sent through the link.

This cant be happening right now. Kiara?! My mate?! No way. This is going to ruin my plan. What the fuck am I suppose to do now?! I cant even recognize myself. I was talking about her so sweet? Ugh. That's not me. That's not the Decebel way of things. I don't know what came over me. I said it without hesitation. Maybe I was just thinking about fresh meat. Yeah that's probably it.

"Bruh, why are you pacing?" Hunter came running out of the door buttoning his pants.

"I found my.. mate." I crossed my arms as I felt my eyes change from the dark gray eyes into my red.

"Wait, what? I thought with HOS you wouldn't have a mate?" Hunter questioned.

"Yeah, that's what I thought. You're not even going to believe who she is." I rolled my eyes.

"Ava?" Hunter coughed.

"No, stupid. Succubus's don't have mates." I grunted.

"It's Kiara Woods." I coughed.

"NO FUCKIING WAY!!!!" Hunter said before busting out laughing.

"Stop fucking laughing. This isn't funny. It's going to ruin all our plans. Not to mention, hows Ma going to handle this?" I could feel myself starting to panic a little.

"Alright, I think maybe this is a good time we go speak with Ma and figure out what the move is." Hunter said before we took off to the car that we shown up in.

Kiara's POV

"What was that about?" Emily questioned.

"I don't know, you think maybe he drank too much?" I looked at Emily.

"Maybe, I don't think I've ever heard him call you baby. Or look that concerned." Emily looked towards the path that he left in.

"I don't think I've ever seen him not mad or intimidating." I rubbed my neck.

Me and Emily just looked at each other before we heard Wades voice.

"You girls okay? I saw Decebel, did he hurt any of you?" He questioned concernedly.

"We're fine. But i think we might have to get going soon." Emily replied while I just kept looking at the door.

Decebels POV

*knock knock*

"Who is it?" The female voice yelled.

"Who the fuck do you think it is?" I yelled back through the door.

I then heard the deadbolt unlock and Ma came to the door.

"Marianna." I rolled my eyes.

"Im your mother, Decebel Jackson Ardnek. I expect you to treat me like it." She crossed her arms.

I walked in and sat in the office chair in front of her wanna be desk.

"What did you need, son. I need to make this quick. I have company coming over tonight." Marianna continued.

"I found my mate." I crossed my arms.

"Well, that would explain why you're home so early. Who is it?" She shrugged.

"Kiara Woods." I rolled my eyes.

She just looked at me like she was hard in thought.

"Are you showing feelings for her?' She questioned while looking into my eyes deeply.

"Of course not. I don't have feelings or have the capability to love anyone." I shrugged.

"This works out perfectly then. I think I found our way in." She giggled.

"And that would be?" I looked at her confused.

"If Kiaras your mate, Then we can use this as a chance for you two to get close. If you get close to Kiara, you'll get close to Blake and Mia. Which means we might be able to wipe the pack out sooner than we thought." She explained.

"You know, that's not really that bad of an idea, at least for something you actually came up with." I laughed.

Marianna rolled her eyes before speaking,

"I've trained you since you were a little boy for this. You know your responsibility, are you prepared?" Marianna thought out loud.

"Of course I am." I smiled.

"Were going to get revenge for you Jackson. Darkened Night Howlers will be ours. Blake and Mia are going down." Marianna laughed out loud.
