She-Ra: Redemption

Sun

A cloaked figure walks into a old run down building. They enters to see many people sitting with drink and meal in hand. Each person passively eyes them for a brief moment before getting back to their business. The figure sits down at what seems like a bar.

"What can I get you missy."

She glances up to the barkeep to see a dark scaled Lizardman. His demeanor rough and rugged like many of other patrons here. His voice deep but strained. She barley gives him a moment before she uses her slim nimble tail to point at one of the bottles that line the shelve behind him.

"Fire Lizard huh. You sure you can handle this miss?" The barkeep says trying to see past the hood.

"Yes but I would like a dash of green mist with it." A feminine but arrogant voice says

The barkeep flinches for a moment before setting down the glass mug he was polishing and presses a button underneath the table.

"Green mist would be in the back. Why dont you follow me and pick one out." He says walking away.

The women quickly follows, as she does door is shut and he pulls a hidden lever and a small staircase descends down.

"Your expected." He says as she walks down.

The hooded women nods and as she walks down she notices the walls change from wood and sandstone to cracked rock and stone. After a short while she arrives at a door which she enters. She's immediately met with the stench of smoke. She pulls a piece of cloth out and covers her nose with it. She looks around to see many people at gambling tables, drinking, and being entertained. She sneers and keeps moving until she notices an individual with green skin wave her down. She follows them into a private room.

The room is decorated with lavish leather couches, a private bar, gambling table and large round bed in the center of the room. She looks around to see the only other person in here is sitting at the minibar.

"Double trouble. Would you kindly tell me you brought me down to this stink hole of a rats nest?" The women says letting down her hood.

It reveals two dark horns protruding from her head while curving back behind her head then curving back to the front. Her horns carry two golden bobbles thay form a sun and crescent moon. She removes her cloak to show a leather vest coated with daggers and others sharp objects. The leather vest covers most of her chest with the exception of V cut down the middle showing her cleavage. The arms are exposed but with one arm having a gold band around it. She is tattooed with a dragon covering most of her arm. The leather armor extends to he legs, she whips her tail slowly back and worth. Her slim tail forms into a spade at the end with gold bands and chains attached to the tip. Her golden eyes look at the double trouble with a annoyed look to them.

"To business so soon Sunny? Why don't we catch up? It has been quite some time since we've been in each others company." Double says while pouring her a drink.

Double trouble smoothly runs their hand up her arm to her shoulder. Until they stop and gently run their hand through her long dark  colored hair.

"Its Sun and no we may not catch up. We are not together anymore. Your lucky I even came." Sun says brushing them away.

"Your no fun, I need a little favor sunny." Double trouble says their attitude serious but still smiling brightly.

"Argh of course you do, what did you get yourself into this time?" Sun says taking her shot down in one swing.

"Nothing I swear, i just need you to act as me for a little bit and I'll be out of your hair." Double trouble says crossing their heart.

"Why ask me? There's dozens of other changelings you could have asked." Sun says pushing her glass towards them.

Double trouble's smile fades as they pour a drink for both of them.

"Let's be real here sun. Even with our broken history your still the only person I can trust in the underworld." They say sliding the shot glass back.

"Bullshit. We both know you could have asked clover or even Djinn." Sun retorts

Double trouble flinches visibly before staring at sun in shock for a moment.

"Where exactly have you been lately?" Double trouble says hesitantly

"Huh? Off world I wanted to check out the other planets why?" Sun says

"And you haven't been home since prime fell right." Double trouble says their demeanor changing to a somber expression

"I left long before prime fell why?" Sun says slowly as she feels the atmosphere change.

"During the last year of primes invasion our burrow was attacked. Since we are changelings that gives us the ability to make our body different so chipping wouldn't really work. So prime destroyed the burrow, clover is dead and Djinn well she hasn't been seen since along with all the others. I want say their hiding but it's been so long since then so I can only assume their dead." Double trouble says as a single tear streaks down their face.

"Are you sure? I mean come on we can literally change into other people! How could they have not escaped." Sun says not believing their words

"The day after prime fell I went back home. I saw all of them...I buried all of them...well the ones i could find. As you know when we are knocked unconscious or killed, we revert back to our original forms or at least what we remember are forms are. I buried seven out of fourteen of our family. So yeah I'm sure." Double trouble says their expression turning sour.

"I...um...I know I wasn't the closest to our burrow but I know you were. You got into the underworld to support the younger ones. I'm sorry you had to find them by yourself." Sun says grabbing their hand.

Double trouble leans over and rests their head on Suns shoulder.

"Could we stay like this. If only for a little." Double trouble says closing their eyes.

Wordlessly Sun nods as she wraps her tail around theirs. They sit for a while basking in each others presence before double trouble wipes their face and stand up.

"Ah look at the time. I'll have to get going or else my kitten is going to have a fit. You just have to do this for a the day and then you can do what you want. It's been good catching up I'll see you around!" Double trouble says quickly as they reach for the door.

As they begin to leave Sunny says

"Becareful out there. I heard you went on the straight and narrow but just in case your thinking on going to your usual tricks just remember those who try to play both sides always end losing to both." Sun says in a worried voice.

"I know...I'll return the favor and give you a warning don't mess with Catra's people." Double trouble says

"Oh? Will we have problems if I do?" Sun says

"No we won't but if you hurt any of the people Catra cares for she wont stop until she finds you. And to be honest I really don't want bury another person I care for." Double trouble says fake smile before leaving.
