Realization

Merry enters the Cadet Barracks, she slowly approaches her bunk then face plants into her pillow. She then flips over grabbing her head.

"I can't I said all that!!!! Ahhh Catra is probably pissed!" Merry says wriggling on her bed.

"You look like a worm." Kal says

Merry turns to see Kal, Siren, Ari, and Ash.

"We didn't get a chance to meet since you got back, so let me say great job on coming back alive." Ari says jumping with joy

"Typical of you to be causing a commotion." Siren says

"Hehe it's good see you all too!" Merry says

"So what did you?" Kal says

"Well you see." Merry says

They all sit and listen intently as she explains her and Ash's adventures and what she told the high council.

"You really are crazy!" Kal says bursting into laughter.

"Hey merry Kal is laughing. It's super creepy  isn't it." Ash says making the movements to whisper but doesn't lower her voice.

"Its pretty jarring isn't it." Merey says

"Huh? You two wanna die." Kal says all his eyes shifting towards them.

"Whaa your always so scary Kal." Ash says hiding behind Merry.

Just as Kal stands up to grab them Alpha appears.

"Looks like you kids are having fun." Alpha says bonking Kal on the head with her body.

"Alpha is the meeting over?" Merry asks

"No everyone's still in discussion but I got bored so part of me came here." Alpha says

"So is Merry going to executed." Kal jokingly says

"Executed!? Merry follow me! I'll help you escape!" Ari shouts

"Your literally the worst person to help Merry escape. One command from Alpha and you'd have no choice but to kill Merry." Ash says flatly

"You can relax nobody is going to be killed. Actually it's a good thing you challenged her like that. I am still learning emotions so the thought of eveyone banding together kill us because of their fear never occurred to me. No wait that's a lie, it was just a low probability." Alpha says

"Really thank goodness." Merry says slumping against a wall.

"Wait are just going to ignore that I don't have free will!?"  Ari says

"Of course you have free will Ari just not all the time." Alpha says

"Anyway what can you tell us about the discussion Alpha?" Ash says

Ari sulks with her shoulders slumped while Siren pats her head.

"Well basically over with, Etheria will no longer expand its borders. The chipping of criminals will continue and Etheria will switch from a offensive focus to a defensive focus. Also Netossa just punched Catra." Alpha says

"Wait Why did Netossa punch her?" Merry says confused

"Something about not letting them in and blocking them. It's really boring stuff really." Alpha says

"Aren't you supposed to be good friends with Catra?" Ash says

"I am it's just that I have already predicted this outcome. I'm just leaving the messy bits to them." Alpha says

"It sounds like your being lazy." Ash says

"Lazy? Haha Haha! Me lazy? I'm currently running 60% of all Etherian system's and that's not counting ordering and controlling all the bots were having to recall. Not to mention that I'm also enhancing Catra. I've literally never been not doing anything since I was made." Alpha says as she moves her orb like body inches away from Ash's face.
