"You know your looking more and more like me every day." Catra says looking at Mermista who is buried under paper work.

"...ARRRGHHHH  this is impossible! It's been like this ever since we conquered those damn planets! Ughh why is everyone so needy." Mermista says slamming her hands down on the table.

"Its good to see someone else suffer like do. Don't worry I'm creating a system that will lighten the load." Catra says grinning while sitting on the desk.

"You promise." Mermista says letting her body go limp over the desk.

"You need adjutant like me." Catra says

"Adjutant? What's that?" Mermista says

"There like trusted seconds. Mine are Lionett and Merry." Catra says

"Merry? Isn't that the little goat girl you adopted?" Mermista says

Catra visibly flinches

"Huh? Adopted? Where did you here that? I just gave her roof to sleep over." Catra says

"She's a cute kid and from what I hear she doesn't seem to mind the rumor." Mermista says sitting up with a grin

"Jeez...I mean me taking care of a kid? Ha! I can barley take care of myself let alone a child." Catra says laying down on the desk.

Mermista turns chair around and lays her head on Catra's stomach.

"I mean it doesn't sound to out there does it? You and Adora talked about it at least didn't you." Mermista says

Catra thinks for a moment before letting her tail hit Mermista's nose.

"Of course we did but we chose to take it slow. After all both of us were still new to the whole love and feelings bit. I mean I still am new. I just don't want to screw up the kid like how I was screwed up." Catra says

"Catra you are not Shadow weaver." Mermista says sternly

"How do you know that? I know dark magic, I'm not as kind as Adora, or understanding as Perfuma, all I'm good for is fighting and leading." Catra says

"If you really were only good for that then I don't think Merry would have agreed to follow you." Mermista says

"Hm maybe your right. Enough about me what about you? How are things with you and Seahawk?" Catra asks

"Things are...complicated." Mermista says hesitantly.

"You don't have talk about if you don't want to. Hell I'm probably the worst person to talk about with." Catra says

"No it's fine. I need some advice anyway, when I fought with the Luxkloren Dynasty I knew I had to kill people and I have killed people before. It feels disgusting and wrong but it has always been in self defense. So it never weighed on me as much as I knew killing these people would. The moment our starships ripped through their fleet I knew this would be a slaughter. For the first time we weren't the defenders but instead the invaders. I knew I had to show Absolute power and superiority. Seahawk was the same but I couldn't let him stain his hands like that. He isn't a queen he doesn't have to commit slaughter like I had too. So knocked him out and has Alpha put him in a coma. I then set Jormungand free and I stormed the palace. On my way a group of rebels tried to fight me. So I decided to use a new move I had been working on. I focus my control of the water around my trident causing my swings to create blades of water. It took less than 10 seconds to kill them all. It was hard to tell age but they were young. At that moment I knew something was wrong with me. But I didn't know what it was...it was.." Mermista says while looking at her hands

"It was so easy. Taking their lives and the countless after that. I know what you mean when I first killed someone I was surprised at how easy it was and how heartless I could truly be. I didn't feel anything when it happened. Well not until after the battle, you can't sleep right?" Catra says

Mermista sits up and looks at Catra.

"Yeah I've been working myself to the bone trying to keep my mind busy." Mermista says

"Try making a sleep schedule and if you just can't sleep then do something else until your ready then adjust your sleeping schedule. I'm not the person you should talk about it fully with, That's Seahawks job." Catra says sitting up.

"It isn't that easy, he won't even look at me nowadays. He makes sure to help run things but that's it..I just don't know what to do? What if things never go back to the way it was!?" Mermista says with tears welling up.

"It never will you've been through something he hasn't. You purposely blocked him off and he's hurt that you didn't trust him enough to be there for you. I'm not saying that you were wrong or right. That doesn't matter now. If you grab him and speak with him plainly. If you tell him your struggles, your trauma, everything you've been experiencing then maybe just maybe he'll want to reach out too. It's to late for me and Adora to have our happy ending but not for you two." Catra says wiping Mermista's tears with her tail.

"Thanks Catra." Mermista says giving Catra a hug.

"Ugh no hugs please." Catra says slightly purring unconsciously.

"I'll go talk to him but Catra just because Adora is gone now doesn't mean that you have to give up on happiness." Mermista says at the door.

"Yes...yes it does Mermista." Catra says with a weak smile.
