Distractions

"Catra you've been inactive for approximately three hours which is highly unusual for you. Is something the matter?" Alpha says

Alpha floats around Catra who is sitting in the garden Perfuma created in the court yard of the fright zone.

"I'm taking a break." Catra says

"That's unusual, hm has something happened?" Alpha says

"Considering I have to go into the depths of the ocean in a few hours I'm not really feeling in the mood for working. Earlier I promised to go with her but now I'm thinking of ways to break that promise without damaging our relationship." Catra says

"According to my calculations there is none." Alpha says

"Yes I've come to that realization as well. Dammit if Adora was here she could have done it for me." Catra growls

"You mean shift responsibility." Alpha says mockingly

"Exactly! Adora and Glimmer always did jobs I didn't want to." Catra says laying down on the bench she was sitting on.

"To think this is our glorious leader." Alpha says

Catra turns away and closes her eyes letting sleep take her. Until she feels something shove her. Catra ignores it until it shoves her again. Annoyed she responds "just a few more minutes." 

"They told me you'd be busy. Not slacking off like usual." The voice called out.

Catra freezes, her eyes open wide as she hears the familiar voice. The voice she had longed for.

"Adora?"

Catra sits up to see Adora. There eyes meet Catra opens her mouth but the words won't come out.

"So not much changed since I left?" Adora says

Catra shuts her mouth and grits her teeth.

"Alpha. If your playing with vision I'll turn you scap metal." Catra says growling

"Your vision is not being altered." Alpha reported

Catra instantly pushes off the bench and tackles Adora. Catra extends her claws and brings down towards Adora's face. Her bloodlust exuding off her. Seconds before the claw reaches her face Adora yells out.

"Its double trouble!"

They yell as they morph back into their original form. Catra's claws stop centimeters  away from their face.

"Double trouble do anything like this again and you'll regret it." Catra says her words full of  malice.

Catea stands up and starts to walk away.

"Wait! I'm sorry I didn't think you'd react this way." They says apologetically

"What do you think was going to happen." Catra says stopping

"You seemed down lately kitten so I thought I'd show you Adora to lift your spirits." They say walking up to Catra.

Catra let's out a sigh

"Yes I'd be happy to see Adora but I'd also punch her for leaving me among other things." Catra says looking them.

"Is that resentment I hear in your voice?" Double trouble says using their tail to brush against her.

"I'm not talking about this with you of all people." Catra says

"Ah my heart!" They shout grabbing their chest and leaning against Catra.

"Double trouble what do you want? If your objective is to annoy me then you succeeded." Catra says grabbing their tail and giving it a little shock.
