"I can't see anything within this gas cloud." Catra says staring out at the dense cloud of fog ahead of her. The fog sparkling with hundreds of different colors.
"I have control of the sensors, which means I know where I'm going." Alpha says
As alpha finishes speaking the ship shakes causing Catra's fur to stand on end.
"Alpha." Catra says gripping her chair.
"Just asteroids hitting the external shields." Alpha says
"How far until we reach the planet?" Catra says
"We are almost there. Wait something's on radar! Its big." Alpha says
"Alive? I need more data Alpha." Catra says looking around at the screens.
"Its alive and heading towards us from the east!" Alpha shouts
"Fire east side cannons!" Catra shouts
Catra brings up the east side camera view on the screen and notices a large shadow moving towards them. The shadow is almost snake like before bursting out of the gas to reveal a massive monster with albino skin with cyan and red swings decorated with feathers. The creature's face is feature less until he nears the ship when it opens its face to reveal thousands and thousands of razor sharp teeth. On Catra's order all the east side cannons open fire, the laser cannons hitting the creature. The creature let's out a wail as it turns it body letting its tail smash into the ship. Seconds before impact Catra grabs hold of two orbs and focuses the power of Athena towards the impact zone. Its tail smashes into a ethereal light blue shield.
"All ships open fire on the creature!" Catra shouts
On her command her small fleet of 200 ships begin opening fire on the creature.
"Are attacks are showing minimal damage to the creature!" Alpha reports
"All ships have permission to use the MAC" Catra shouts (Magical Acceleration Cannons)
Standard Etherian Destroyer Class Carriers are made of titanium that's been reinforced with Black gold interior plating. The ships are 2.5 kilometers in length. The ship designs are long but split like a fork down the middle. Each side is covered in automatic turrets and manual turrets. Above and below each side close to bridge are missle batteries. Lastly the MAC is a weapon similar to the hammer of dawn. But more compact, the MAC causes the central part of the ship to be exposed building up massive amounts of energy. Each side of the ships interior plating opens up filling the gap between each side with some kind of energy that helps guide the MAC blast. The down side is that once fired all shields will be down for a short amount of time. Each ship can hold around 10,000 people.
As Catra orders each ships shields drop as all energy is diverted to center ship building up into a large mass of dark red magical energy until finally it is launched at the creature leaving a trail of dark red energy.
The creature senses innate danger and starts to wiggle its body trying to dodge. Which it does but is not able to dodge all 200 MAC blasts. The creature screams in pain until falling silent. Catra signals for the camera to zoom in on the body. Alpha does so to reveal most of the creatures body to be have giant holes and vaporized flesh.
"Leave a two ships to harvest whatever remains of the creature. That creature had impressive armor." Catra says
"Already on it. Shall we proceed?" Alpha says
"Yes." Catra says taking a breath.
"Worried?" Athena says appearing next to Catra.
"Yes, unlike you I can die if our ship is breached." Catra says
