She-Ra: Redemption

The Mourn Federation- Part One

"Edit log: I am Admiral Hordak of the Etherian Empire, I have been stranded on metal planet for a year now. My troops are scattered and if it couldn't get any worse my army of bots are being disable and turned against me while the Etherian soldiers that survived hate me which would fine as long as it did not interfere with the mission and our survival. Unfortunately they refused my orders so abandoned them. Their probably dead by now...Catra would definitely not approve. I ended up climbing a spire that the planet formed through this action I was able to learn that the horde is using these creature's hive mind network, I'm guessing they are trying to reestablish the horde network. They seem to have almost got it working because when I accidentally connected to the network the leader felt me and now they've been sending teams of these creatures to kill me. If not for Entrapta's modifications to my suit and weapon I'm sure i would be dead by now, the suit greatly enhances my speed and strength. But it does have limitations, the suit runs off the magic of the first ones and without the ship nearby i can't recharge. If only Entrapta finished making those portable magic charging crystals so I wouldn't have to rely on the Ships Magical Pylons to supply magic to the suit. Speaking of I hope your okay Entrapta. I hope this recording makes it to you, I'm currently based in a cave that's located along side a mountain. Well I say cave and mountain but everything on this planet is metal. The planet is always shifting so I don't know how long this safety will last. I've been studying the planet and with the limited resources available I was able to predict when a spire will form in twenty four hours due north of here. I plan on using the last of magic reserves for my last attempt at broadcasting a message to the fleet. I know Alpha is there, he destroys anything that attempts to leave the planet.  If i fail this then my suit runs out of power and I'm as good as dead. Well I'm going to sleep. Entrapta...If you find this I'm sorry and I'm glad you didn't suffer the same fate as me." Hordak says over a campfire before laying down and closing his eyes to sleep.

Twenty Four hours later Hordak stands at the base of a mountain that is shifting and morphing into a long Spire.

"I have 10 minutes before it morphs back into flat plains." Hordak says before she starts to sprint up the spire. 

Hordak follows the metallic stairs upwards but realizes he won't be in time if he continues to follow the beaten path. He looks at his wrist display to see his power cells are at 20 percent power. He takes a breathe before sending power to his legs and arms. He clenches his fist sending a command to the suit having it extend blades from his wrist. he jumps up and impales the spire with his blades, he repeats this for a number of minutes before a warning bells start ringing from is suit. he looks at his wrist to see he has five percent power left.  he thinks to himself that this doesn't make sense. he should have been there already, as he jumps again he foceses his attention to the top of the spire, it's then that he notices the spire growing larger. 

"They know what I'm trying to do! It's all or nothing!." Hordak shouts as he uses all his power to make larger leaps. 

As Hordak leaps up the spire he watches as his power reserves dwindle until he makes one last leap causing his suit to lose power. He reaches out towards the edge and barley catches it as the spire grows larger taking him up with it. He slowly pulls himself up to and see's a familiar bulb like object in the middle. He tries to crawl forward but feels the suit lock as it's run out of power. He grits his teeth as forces his suit to move,  he moves inch by inch until he finally reaches the bulb. He touches the spire letting his consciousness be sucked into the hive mind. He feels the thousands of minds reaching out to him and threatening to consume him. Hordak feels parts of his mind being torn away from him as he searches the Hive Mind. Hordak looks around to see a brain with thousands of connections and starts to search each connection trying to find the communications network.

"Brother please do not make me destroy you." A voice calls out.

"Ha! It's to late! Even if you destroy me. Catra will have already received my becon and she'll destroy this planet!" Hordak shouts.
