Prologue

Three Days Before Departure.

"Hey~~ Adora." Catra says hugging Adora from behind.

"Home for tonight?" Adora says turning her.

"Miss me?" Catra says kissing Adora

"Always... me, glimmer and bow were talking and how would you feel about going on the adventure like we talked about." Adora says.

"Adventure?" A confused catra asks

"Well you know 2 years ago after the war ended, we said we'd go on a adventure into space and explore the galaxy."

"You remember what I said two years ago? Ah that's not the point, its only been two years and your planning leaving?" Catra says narrowing her eyes

"Come on catra, the best friend squad exploring the stars together! It'll be fun."
Adora says grabbing Catra's hand with a smile.

"When I agreed to that, i meant you know after we've restored order to etheria! There still so much to do." Catra snapped

"Please just think about." Adora said kissing Catra before leaving their room.

Catra P.O.V.

"Please just think about."

Just think about!? What's wrong with them! Leaving etheria? The restoration effort is far from being over. Catra mutters to herself as she walks to the balcony once more.

In the war so many people were chipped but so many more were killed. Villages, cities, burned to the ground. Why can't they see that they need her more than ever now! That.. I need her more than ever now...

Present Day

My day opens like any other, waking up next to adora because her damn sleep fighting. I mean I'm used to it but sometimes she actually gets some good hits in but I always make sure to pay her back. After doing my morning routine, I go to the war room in brightmoon and check out how the restoration project is going. So far 70% is complete but it's not enough.

"Hey! old man got anything for me today?" Catra says sitting in her seat at the round table.

"Ah catra you know I was the king of Brighmoon you know, and yes there bandit activity on the path towards Salineas. Capture them and find out where they keep coming from." King Micha says handing a map to Catra.

"I mean in the past i used to call you King but when you cried because glimmer wouldn't talk to for trying to ground her, you kinda lost all my respect for ya. " Catra laughed.

Catra takes the map and begins to walk out when the other princess walk in with Adora.

"Was there a meeting or something today?" Catra asks

"Ugh Catra, yes there was which you would know if played any attention in our last meeting." Glimmer explained

"In my defense sparkles, letting that old man do the meeting was so boring I almost thought i was listening to shadow weavers lecturing again. Well you know without the death threats." Catra says hitting glimmer with her tail.

"Well calling it meeting is a it much more like saying goodbye." Bow explained

Goodbye? What is he saying?

"Okay everyone sit down so we can begin the non-meeting uh meeting! So declare the Queen!" Glimmer says with a smile

What could this be about? I mean important enough to call the princess back from their territory. Wait is that hordak? Oh ya I always forget he's married to entrapta.
