She-Ra: Redemption

War- Part Four

Mermista and seahawk stand with a dozen other officers around a halomap. Each of them commenting on how to prepare for an attack.  Mermista and seahawk look at their defense, A blockade around the sea gate made up battleships, Automatic turrets lined along the bastion, The beach has been fortified with metal spikes to prevent siege weapons from easily reaching the walls. 

"Will this be enough? Seahawk says 

"It has to be, Catra won't admit it to everyone but this war is hurting us. The amount of resources that it cost to make all of our ships, bots, fortifications, and on top of that we still haven't got our economy to a stable level even after the restoration of Etheria. To make this war worth it we have to win without taking much damage. Luckily this whole economy concept is new so not much is expected of it. " Mermista says 

"Where is she getting these idea's?" Seahawk says curiously 

"Entrapta told me when we got access to horde primes files on all the civilizations he destroyed, Catra read all of them apparently horde prime took extensive records of each civilization he conquered, their customs, their technology, their history, how they ruled, everything. She took parts of each of the mightiest civilizations there once was and pieced them together to make the best plan for Etheria. Ugh I hate to admit it but i need to step it up, She can't be the only one carrying Etheria." Mermista says looking at seahawk.

"Don't you worry my love! Together we will prove to Catra she need not carry this burden alone!" Seahawk shouts striking a pose.

"Prove? I didn't even realize that's what I was trying to do... dammit why does she have to me feel motivated." Mermista says

"Princess Mermista the enemy is approaching. Even after we shot down their carrier it seems that there navy ships were intact." A officer reports.

"Add them to the halomap." She says

The officer types in some code and then five rows of argoians appear three miles off shore.

"They appear to have battleships, transport vessels, and really big cannon. Presumably to destroy the gate." The officer says

"Send in my Sea Knights I want that cannon sunk. Begin bombardment of their ships as soon they are in range. Seahawk lead a squadron of boats for hit run attacks. If they try to break through the blockade I'll step in. Go!" Mermista commands.

The enemy ships enter firing range and begin being bombarded, in response the enemy sends out smaller sized ships ahead. They more like speed boats but as they are moving towards the blockade Seahawk intercepts them. Both begin hit and run tactics on each other.

The Argoians main cannon begins to warm up when their ship explodes from the left side. They look down into the water to find fish people planting explosives to their ship.
All of the enemy ships push forward with the exception of the siege boat. Instead they drop mines into the water, seconds later large underwater explosions erupt.

"Princess the sea knights have been wiped out. They are pressing their advance, the blockade as opened fire. Readings indicate they are powering up the cannon." An officer says

"Seahawk take out that cannon now!" Mermista shouts over her comm.

"A little busy love!" Seahawk says blowing up an enemy speed boat.

"Let the blockade finish that up, they'll breach the gate if that cannon fires!" Mermista shouts running to the gate.

Seahawk signals his squad of boats to follow him as they make their way to the siege boat. Mermista walks in front of the gate, she uses her powers to lift her out of the water her legs covered by a small tornado of water she concentrates on the boats that are about to breach the blockade and pushes them back with surging waves. At the same time Seahawk boards the enemy ship with his men.
