Deep Below- Part Three

"What the hell just happened." Netossa shouts

"Okay let's recount, first Catra and Mermista start glowing then Catra starts bleeding everywhere. I get worried but can't do anything about that because all of sudden I'm being beaten my giant tentacles! I mean I knew we'd be fighting something but I just thought maybe some giant squid or something not some ancient monster that not even the first ones could kill. It was simple plan. A simple plan of helping a friend and maybe the occasional boast to spinny that I defeated some sea monster. So tell me why I'm the only one fighting this monster! Oh hey guys why don't you guys go do some cool light stuff and I'll fight the giant monster! With oh I don't know the freaking nets I can throw!? Okay calm down. Catra I don't know if you can hear me but I'm really in a tight spot right now!" Netossa says panicking as the creatures long tentacles bash against Netossa's net barrier she's put up around them.

"Calm down Netossa. Your voice is only drawing more attention to everyone."

Alpha says appearing by her shoulder.

"Wh- wait aren't you Catra's little robot guy." Netossa says

"Artificial intelligence please there's no need for racism." Alpha says

"Ah wait I didn't mean for it sound like all robots are the same or anything! I just couldn't remember the word." Netossa says tripping up on her words

"I was attempting to make a joke to distract you from your panic. It seems I failed, never the less it at least calmed you down." Alpha says

"Why you little-"

"I don't have much time. Although i wanted avoid a scenario where she is using us all at once it seems life as other plans. First you need to activate and deactivate your net in between attacks. If you don't you'll run out of magic within ten minutes." Alpha says

"Run out of magic? I've never had that problem before." Netossa says doing what he says

"Unlike those who are connected to runestones, those without have a finite amount of magic within them before you need to rest. For example when you placed a net over the brightmoon you ended up using all your magic." Alpha says

"Oh I see. So how much time did this trick buy us?" Netossa says timing her net between blows.

"An additional ten minutes. That should be enough time for Catra and Mermista to complete their mission." Alpha says

It was then the attacks stopped. Netossa shift her attention to the creature. Its mouth out stretched it let's out a horrifyingly screetch. So loud Netossa is forced to cover her ears. Netossa eyes widen in shock as she forgot about Catra and Mermista. She turns to see blood coming out of their ears.

"Catra's ear drums have burst. I don't have Mermista's schematics but I believe the same could be said for her as well." Alpha reports

"Dammit it was bad enough defending against his attacks now I got to worry about his voice!" Netossa says as another attack strikes her net.

"Not to alarm you but I'm picking up more life signs heading our way." Alpha says

"Of course there is, okay little dude whats our plan." Netossa says

"I'm sorry you'll be on your own. If I remain online any longer Catra will have permanent brain damage. Goodbye."

Alpha says before flicking out.

"Brain damage? Dammit Catra what did you do to yourself. Nevermind that looks like it was right. What are those...wait those are Argoians?" Netossa says in shock

A dozen Argoians encircle Netossa's barrier. But as she takes a closer look she realizes that there different than what she's seen before. There skin is pale, parts of their skin growing barnacles, pure white eyes, and most notably tentacles coming out of their mouths.

All at once they begin attacking the dome.

"Dammit! Take this!" Netossa says

She quickly makes the dome disappear and casts another net towards one of the Argoians but notices a tentacles coming towards her. She instantly destroyd the net and makes the same net that was protecting them before.

"Dammit, their syncing attacks when I make the dome disappear! Looks like I got ten minutes after all." Netossa says

Suddenly she starts to hear something coming from the cave entrance.

"Great more of these guys!?" Netossa says in dismay

But is surprised to see a dozen Marine Bots. Unlike solider bots there slim and sleek. Only having two blasters connected to their shoulders with their hands being able to transform into blades. They look similar to the commander bots but aren't as powerful

"Yes! Looks like that little guy sent for reinforcements." Netossa says obvious joy in her voice.

The tentacles keep lashing out at her but the drowned Argoians shift their attention to the bots. The drowned have their numbers cut in half by the time they are in reach of the bots. The marine bots had the advantage in weaponry but are quickly out done in physical strength. Within moments of the battle starting the bots are less than three.

Netossa stares in shock as the remaining bots are destroyed. Not everything is lost as only four drowned remain. They make there way back to Netossa and continue smashing their fists into the barrier.

"Dammit! Catra....Mermista...please hurry! I don't know what to do.." Netossa says gritting her teeth.
