Chapter 17

Catra arrives in brightmoon she walks to a isolated house and knocks on the door.

"Coming!" A voice calls out

Seconds later the door opens and Spinerella appears.

"Catra? This is a surprise not that I'm complaining." Spinerella says

"I'm not interrupting am I?" Catra says nervously

"No no come in, we were about to have dinner. Darling we have company!" She says leading Catra to the dinner table.

"A guest? Is it Micah?" Netossa says setting the table.

"Oh? Does Micah come by often?" Catra says her tails swaying curiously

"Ah catra! Yes he does we often have dinner together. In fact he should be coming today as well." Netossa says looking at the time.

"Will General Juliet be coming as well?" Catra says

The moment her name is said both spinerella and Netossa freeze.

"She's actually the reason I'm here, I tried looking for her at the palace but couldn't find her. So I looked up her residence and I was surprised to you two. I didn't know you all shared a house together." Catra says

"Are you trying to make a joke or something!?" Netossa says her voice loud and angry.

"Eh?" Catra says confused.

"You really don't know?" Spinerella says shocked.

"What are two talking about?" Catra says her voice louder and more assertive.

"Juliet is dead. She died during the invasion, how don't you know this!? You read the death reports didn't you!?" Netossa says her voice growing angrier by the second.

"Of course I did! I read the damned report so many times I memorized every last name on it! But her name wasn't on it!" Catra says slamming her fist against a wall. Her voice growing and slowly turning into a growl.

"What?" Both spinerella and Netossa say at the same time. Netossa's shock calming her down.

"Seeing how you are surprised like myself that means someone lied to me. Someone is covering up their death. I don't know why or who but when I find out they're dead." Catra says her voice turning into a growl.

"It was me." A voice says.

They look turn to see the voice came from King Micah.

"Micah! You had better have a good explanation!" Catra hisses.

In a flash she used her power to close the distance between her and King Micah. She grabs by the collar with lighting arcing off her.

"There are few reasons why, one of them is because at the time if you had known that Angella's closest friend had died you wouldn't have been able to think straight. Like right now for instance." He says calmly not resisting Catra's grip.

"I would have been fine!" Catra retorts.

"If you would have been fine then tell me why your losing control of your powers." He says.

Catra looks down at her body and immediately releazes that lighting has been arcing off her body. But she also notices a net as been formed around her and Micah.

She takes a breath and let's go of him. After taking a few steps back Netossa releases her net.

"I'm sorry but right now you had better tell me everything because I'm really not in the mood for half truths." Catra says holding back her anger.
