Chapter 4

"I'm surprised you came with me...hordak." Catra says driving to brightmoon.

"Silence, I'm only here because Entrapta asked me to." Hordak grumbled.

"Yeah I know, but since your here I want to apologize...you know for the whole betraying you and calling you a failure." Catra says her tone growing more serious

"..."

"To be fair you were a pretty horrible boss, I see now you were trying to copy horde prime. But if I'm being honest I like this version of you better. I guess me and you were both obsessed with winning huh. Sorry I'm rambling but-" Catra says quickly

"The Catra I knew didn't talk as much about her feelings." Hordak says sternly

"Ha! I guess your right haha." Catra says

Hordak for the first time looks over to Catra.

"Catra.. I forgave you a long time ago. But the next time we fight don't expect to win." He says then looks away with a small smile.

Brightmoon

It seems reinforcements are coming!" King Micha says blasting one of the invaders with magic.

"Do you really think Catra's speech was enough?" The General says

"Yes, so we can only hope that the rest of etheria does too." King Micha says

Suddenly a shout comes reporting that they've gotten past the east front.

"Tell everyone to retreat to the inner palace and to have Netossa meet me in the middle of the court yard." He yells the desperation in his voice showing little by little.

"My King what do you plan to do?" The general asks after cutting one of the invaders down.

"I'm going to amplify netossa powers to make a blockade to buy time until Catra can reach here." King Micha says

"I don't know much about magic but I have seen Netossa in combat and I know to cast larger nets she needs time to charge them up. From what your planning she's going to cast the biggest net she's ever done, if that's the case the charge up time is going to be emense." The General says

"Damn... your right but it's the only option we have! We'll be over run soon!" He says making his kingly demeanor vanishing.

"Then go, we the palace guard shall buy you as much time as we can." She says her voice clear and determined.

"Absolutely not! The enemy are to spread out. And if were not quick enough you'll  die." King Micha says

"Your majesty we the royal guard failed to protect Queen Angella. We will not fail to protect your highness or the people of Ehteria. I've already used the communication array to order the destruction of the side entrances to the inner Palace. The one were standing in is the only path forward, the rest of the guards are on their way. We will hold this position until your plan is ready. Don't worry I'm sure you'll succeed." She says smiling before turning and ordering her subordinates to form a perimeter.

"Thank you General Juliet"

With nothing else to say he grits his teeth and pushes forward.
