Chapter24: Surprise for dinner

Another hard Sapphire practice. Another practice where we do one group dance five times until Julia sees perfection.

I was lying on the wooden floor with Janelle, Daytona and Kevin, all of us covered in sheets of sweats. Breath ragged and short while quenching our thirst till the very last drop of water from our bottles.

Not one person in this studio doesn't feel like fresh flowers in spring time. We all felt like the undead for damn good reasons.

Three people in the group weren't on point during the group performance. So Julia has made sure that we go through the entire dance until none of them weren't dancing poorly.

By the fifth time, both Mrs Robertson and Julia were happy with the group practice and finally allowed us to leave. If you think that Julia was being hard on us, than you haven't had practice with Mrs Robertson.

"I need a hot shower right now before I sink like a dead cow." I said as I enter the Dorm Building with Janelle, Kevin and Daytona groan.
Nodding their heads in agreement after we have been dismissed.

I'm pretty sure that we all felt every muscle in our bodies are arching and burning at the same time. Just shows that Julia made us dance our butts off.

Daytona let out a small chuckle as we walked through the building, reading something from her phone,
"Penny's asking that we meet her and Frankie at the library. Because studying with him is like studying with her Dad and youngest brother at the same time."

Laughing at that picture, thinking how that would actually work out. Her Dad might be the one who like over explaining everything or might be all over her for the smallest mistakes.
While her younger brother might be the one who wants to 'help her study' by drawing little stick men on the corners of the pages.

Or would do silly jokes that gets on her last nerves. "I got nothing else to do or any papers to study for, so sitting in my room alone is a no go."

"I can spend some time in the library with you guys." Janelle said, Kevin agreeing with her as they were climbing into the elevator before I was about to take the stairs. "Meet back here at like two fifty, maybe?"

"That's fine with me, catch you guys later." I waved bye to them as the silver doors closed before walking up the stairs since I had little energy to take two steps at a time.

Once I got to my room, immediately I locked my door before undressing myself. Then jumped into the hot shower that I've promised myself. After my shower, I changed into a black and white Adidas tuck suit pants, a yellow long sleeve crop top with all black All Stars while having my hair loose.

By around two forty side, Janelle, Daytona, Kevin and I regrouped in front of the elevator. Then we got a small snack at KAU cafeteria before heading to the library. Which is on the upper floor of Building B where Peyton and Franklin were.

When we got to the place, it was basically easy to spot both of them sitting in the middle of the biggest library that I ever knew could exist.
It was something so extraordinary that I can't help myself from staring up and around the place.
It basically looked like it had came out of a book or something.

This entire place was big enough to have at least three labs built in side by side each other. And then another three rooms built on top of them all. The book shelves were dark brown wood, filled with many books of all genres as well as textbooks. Having tables and beanbags for anyone to grab a book and make themselves comfortable.

Many people were either typing on their laptops seated at the oak wooden tables, drinking coffee or whatever drink in take away cups with KAU's shield printed on it.
There were creamy white and gold chandeliers hanging above the six tables.
That stood in the middle of the room in a straight line, twisted spine staircases in all four corners of the room leading those up to more book shelves.
And beanbags with other students reading and studying. I wish this place was mine.
