My first day on campus was way better than I had initially thought would be like. I've made friends quicker than I had thought I would and have gotten a chance to try out for two things that I love doing.

So far my first day was going just great and I was happy that it was. Peyton, Daytona, Franklin and Kevin are all great, funny, fun and easy people that I could talk to without feeling awkward or out of place.

Turns out that I have Biological Sciences with Franklin and Kevin while Peyton and Daytona does Kinesiology with me which was great really, because when classes starts on Monday I won't feel so alone in any of them.

We were sitting and eating at this small café that was at least five minutes away from Ground A called Rockstar which was this funky 80's diner with a modern twist and was the coolest café I've ever been to.
They have the best chocolate cake and beef burger that I've ever had, the place had a very cool, easy vibe and its style of service makes you want to come back again.

Many of the people who were inside are mostly students and random, normal people walking down the street. Right now, we were sharing five slices of chocolate cake between the five of us when Daytona asked me, "So, what type of dance do you do?"

"Well, I did ballet when I was five until I was seven years old when I started with hip pop, jazz and ballroom dancing. I also do contemporary and modern."
I've been doing all of these styles of dances throughout my whole life and I love each and every one of them. Even if I haven't been dancing ballet for a long time, I can still do it.

Turns out that Daytona and Kevin are joining KAU's dance club for their second year which makes me feel less 'alone' and nervous for tomorrow's try out.

Daytona had the biggest smile on her face after I've listed the styles of dances that I do, "Oh my gosh, I do contemporary and modern too! Awe, we're like dance sisters!!"

The Asian sweet girl pulled me gently into a side hug which was so cute of her. Daytona is this cute, sweet energy ball that makes you want to hold and play with all the time and I just enjoy her energy. Her amount of energy closely match the amount that I have. Which makes me feel more comfortable being with her since I don't really have a way of slowing my 'energetic' self sometimes.

Kevin, on the other hand, rolled his eyes at Daytona while Peyton and Franklin were laughing for her reaction as was I, "And as for me, I do hip pop and jazz, have to go with the culture, ya know what I mean."

Kevin is from the Bronx in New York, born and raised there. He moved to Los Angeles to study Biological Sciences at KAU which was amazing, but at the same time questionable.

I mean, New York City is literally known as the City of Dance where there are university with different dance styles of all over the world.
So, why would he even move away from his pot of gold?
I wasn't going to make him tell me the whys, because that would be stepping into someone's privacy which I respect highly of.

"Are you seriously going to the boys' soccer team's trail run tomorrow, Jenna?" Kevin asked while eating his slice of chocolate cake. Everyone at the table saw me free style with Ryan as well as me asking Coach Richard about letting me try-out for the team which he said yes for.
But they still couldn't wrap their heads around the idea which I didn't blame them at all. "I mean, why won't you try playing soccer outside of KAU, in a girls' team."

I drank some of my lemonade to wash down some of the cake before answering, "That is my other option if I don't get in the Boys' team which I know is one long, ridiculous shot that I'm taking, but I can't back out now. And I won't know for sure about it until I see it through." Franklin finished his piece of cake before asking,
