We were back in my car, driving through the campus front grates again, Peyton, Charlotte and Ryan were singing the last song that they were playing from his phone through my radio. I kept quiet, because I pretty much had nothing to say at this point.

David asked Steven to join our crew which hasn't gotten any new people to join for nearly two years now and he got a chance of going through the crew's challenges tomorrow morning early. Don't get me wrong, this is a good thing, a great thing that's happening to the crew. But for some reasons, I'm not as excited about it as Jaxon, Steven and Justina are.

Before stopping in front of the dorm building, my phone beeped with a message from Dad,

Dad: "Hi Aloha, I'm here at Hendrix's store now. You're on your way yet?"

Me: "Hi Dad, yip in my car right now, will meet you in ten minutes or more."

Existing the message before rolling my window down to say, "I gotta meet up with my Dad for something, I'll see you guys later, ok."

Nodding their heads while I was making a U-turn, driving past and waving bye to them. Penny were under Ryan's arm with a big smile, she couldn't stop saying that she's friends with a 'celeb' in the car. Now that she knows about Swag Crew and Evey Eve, I don't have to think of all the names of people who I would talk to in middle and high school whenever my friends were sick or something.

Charlie is just as excited as Penny for having a friend being part of a dance crew that Los Angeles are in love with. Which was cute, even Ryan was excited about the whole idea. Though I'm sure he's more excited for David's part and wishes that he could dance like us just to see how his best friend's gonna do on the challenges tomorrow.

As I was waving goodbye and driving past, I caught David staring towards me with a smile while his eyes were different, they were studying me in that way of his that almost find a way to make me open up to him.

Luckily for me, I was in my car, driving away from the chance of letting him do that, right now I can't talk to him, not with my brain being a bowl of soup. Even on the road, driving through Downtown, where the streets and sidewalks were buzzing with excitement and joy, my mind was just not present.

Finally parking my car in front of a face brick building with neon lights shining 'open' brightly through the window. Drix's Ink. This tattoo store has been Uncle Hendrix's baby since he graduated from collage alongside Dad with a degree in Art and Business. His store has been in the business of tattoos for a very long time and hasn't seem to be slowing down anytime soon.

Uncle Hendrix and Dad were roommates at first in college and have been friends since then and both took part in each other's wedding. Dad was the Best Men for Uncle Hendrix and he was one of the groomsmen which says a lot of their friendship in a big way.

In fact, this was the very tattoo store where Dad got his traditional Hawaiian tattoo that's from his family's tribe. Uncle Hendrix actually flew to Hawaii to get more insight of the tattoo from Grandpa before he got started.
And from there onwards, he has done Anthony, Rebecca and Johnny's traditional Hawaiian tattoo right after they turned eighteen, the same age that Dad, Uncle Sidney and Grandpa got theirs.

I was planning on getting mine done on my birthday or at least during the week of it, but David figured that I might be too busy writing papers and completing assignments by that time and doesn't want me to overstress myself.

Walking through a building that still has that scent of ink with roast coffee beans and lemon essence, Uncle Hendrix's eldest daughter, Amelia was sitting at the counter beside the coffee machine was the first to greet me, "Hey Jenna."
