David's POV

Five hours. It's been five hours and Ryan still hasn't spoken to me since today's game. Today has turned out to be a really crappy day, I had a huge, ugly argument with Ariel and my best friend, my mate is giving me the cold shoulder and I really need his advice on all of this.

He was lying on his bed, playing Candy Crush on his phone and haven't talked to me once. Even when I got back from the hospital earlier to check up on Jimmy, haven't gotten much feedback from Ariel's sister, Rebecca and I'm keeping my ear open for her call to hear what's the plan for his recover.

I may have bitten his head off for getting injured more than him telling Ariel a half-truth which I have to clear everything up to her. If she's willing to listen to me. Don't you mean if she wants to listen to you, mate?

Not being able to take another minute of this silence, I finally turn the desk chair around to Ryan, "Alright mate, I get that you're pissed at me and don't really wanna talk, but please just spit everything out. Don't care if it's harsh, just let me have it."

Ryan glanced at me with a raised eyebrow before sitting up, his phone facing down on his bed, "You screwed up big time and may have lost the only girl who has ever treated you like an actual person and who has strong guts to point out your crap without wetting herself or regretting it."

Nodding my head, swallowing the hard pill as it comes, "Alright, that wasn't-"

"Oh, I ain't done, bro," Ryan raised his hand, stopping me in my tracks which meant that what he said before was just a warm up.

So, I kept my mouth and let him have at it with me as he take his legs off from his bed, facing me fully and giving his full attention, "Last night I told you that Jennie needed more than just a 'I'm sorry' speech, but after how you basically dragged her through the mud in front of the team like that, you're gonna need to buy her a new car or a chocolate basket. Something that will be your 'maybe ticket' to get back on her good side. Hell, the girl probably doesn't want anything to do with you after what you've done to her today."

The things that Ryan have said are things that I'm already worried about, the last thing I want is for Ariel to keep her distance from me. Though deep down I know that I've pushed her away, have caused her to never want to speak to me ever again and there might be mothing that I could do to get her to forgive me.

Before I could say anything, suddenly our room's door burst open and closed with Charlotte standing in the room, staring at me with olive green fire. Uh oh, you're dead, mate.

She first grabbed a pillow from my bed before she started swinging the thing towards me, knocking me off the chair and onto the floor.
While I was covering my head and barely protecting myself from my sister's hits, I caught Ryan saying, "Oh yeah, I told Charlie about everything that happened between you and Jennie."

I could hear the little laughter that he was hiding from his voice which I'm gonna kill him for. Charlie hit me with my own pillow for almost fifteen minutes before screaming at me, "You stupid, stupid boy!! How dare you treat my bestie like she's your damn play doll who you can just hurt, because you're too stupid to realize that Jenna's the best thing that could ever happen to you?!
The girl has done absolutely nothing wrong to you, yet you decided to throw all of her secrets that she intrusted you with back in her face!! Do you even know what damages you have done, you bloody asshole?!"

After getting one final hit from Charlie, I stood up from the floor, facing my sister, holding the pillow before she could hit me again, "Look, I know that I've messed up, ok. I know that. Today I lost control over my words, there's no one else to blame than myself."
