I softly cursed myself when my eyes started burning again, but I kept the tears back as I greeted him with a more cheering tone instead of a choke of sob, "Hey David."

He opened the door wider for me to walk into the room, once he closed the door, I took a moment to look around his and RyRy's room. Their room were closely similar to mine and Penny's, expect their walls was painted in dark blue and white, the study table stood beside the door and the book shift stood by the bathroom.

It was the first time that I've ever been inside of their room when nearly half of the time, David, Ryan, Charlotte and everyone else are mostly in mine and Penny's.
Standing here in their room gave a good and kinda cosy feeling, you can easily feel comfortable being here.

I turned around, about to say something before having arms wrapped around me. Surrounding me with black pepper and lavender which caused my arms to immediately circled around him.
He held me like this for seconds, then two minutes, breathing me in as much as I was doing the same while standing in his embrace, "You danced beautifully today."

Smiling against his chest, feeling overly happy that he got my message that I sent to him through Charlie's phone before I got on the stage. Slightly squeeze my arms around him, "Thank you. I wished you were there."

Slightly pulling away from him, staring at his face which showed slight pain while trying to hide it from me when he said in a hoarse voice, "You said that the ticket wasn't meant for me." I wish he forgot that.

That's when my tears broke loose from my grip around them and I didn't care anymore, because I felt the pain that he had in his voice when quoting the words that I spit at him on Tuesday, "I shouldn't have said that, what I said to you was so wrong of me and you didn't even do anything wrong - I'm so sorry, David."

His eyes widen when I started crying and just gently pulled me back against his chest, rubbing my back softly, "It's ok, Ariel. I wasn't mad with you, a bit hurt, but I knew that you were pissed, you have nothing to be sorry about."

Shaking my head, looking back up at him, needing to explain, "Stephanie admitted that she stole the video from your phone, she was hoping that Mrs Robertson would give the solo to her if there are two people who have the same choreography.
Turns out that it's her secret weapon to win the solo last year and hope to get it right again this time -"

"Until Mrs Robertson kicked her out of Sapphire in front of everyone after she tried biting your head off for winning a solo as well as the Spotlight Culture Metal." David finished my explanation, causing my eyebrows furrow together, surprise that he actually knew it.

Noticing my surprise, he shrugged his shoulders before smirking back at me, "I've asked Daytona to keep me posted during the time of us not talking. You weren't answering my calls or messages and I wasn't invited anymore, so I went with a different method."

My lips curl up into a small smile, should have figured that he would have kept taps on what was going on, still find that amazing about David.
I nearly jolted when I felt his hand gently held my left cheek where Stephanie smacked me, there was still a dull pain, hardly a sting, "How's your cheek?"

"It doesn't hurt as much as it did before." I admitted as he wrapped my tears away, staring at the left side of my face with a dark look. If David had been there, I wonder what he would have done.

I'm sure that he wouldn't have hit or physically harm her, that's not who he is or will ever become. He would probably scream at her and back me up as I faced off Stephanie and get her to convince. "Your ex knows how to slap, I'm almost impressed."

His scoff was ice cold as his eyes became green fire like they were on Tuesday during our argument, "I've never trusted Stephanie, I should have known that she was up to no good when she asked for my phone.
I could have gotten rid of her, if her perform wasn't some neutral gas. You were right about one thing; ex's do trust each other."
