"Can you please let it go now?" I asked David, nearly exhausted of hearing him trying to make a point when the answer is so obvious that this conversation is not only long overdue, but has become irrelevant. "I'm not jealous of you or the amount of thirsty comments you got on the crew's social page."
After unlocking my dorm room's door, I would have greeted both David and Ryan, but then the two decided to walk in without receiving any invitation from me or anyone else at all.
Penny was sitting on her bed, typing on her laptop when we walked into the room, greeting us with a warm smile, "Hey, how was practice?""Good." I answered while waving towards her before dropping my duffle bag on my bed, then walking to my closet, not feeling comfortable giving Penny a hug when I'm covered in sweat.
David waved back at Penny happily as Ryan walked up to her, stealing a big kiss from her lips, then covered her face with sweet, small ones. After the last kiss, he added, "With these two arguing, practice was fun."
Crossing her eyebrows together, glancing between me and David confused and almost worried that she stopped typing to ask, "What do you mean arguing? Are you two fighting again?"
The reaction Penny had for the 'argument' that me and David were having is similar to how a little girl finds out that her parents have bad news to share with her.
But the guy smiled kindly towards my roommate, patting her foot lightly when he said, "No one's fighting with anyone, Ariel just doesn't want to admit that I'm getting more popular in the crew than she is and that makes her jealous."Chuckling at that understatement, which is incorrect and completely ridiculous, the mere thought of it is enough to become the number one joke in the book, "David's thinks that I could actually get 'jealous' over dirty, sexual comments that nearly all of the girls on campus had made about him when Swag Crew had that dance battle on Tuesday.
But in reality, the only way I could ever become 'jealous' of him, is if he somehow manage create with a new TikTok dance that goes viral within thirty seconds."After saying this, Penny became even more confused and less worried, there was some glimpse of curiosity when asking, "Can I see the comments?"
Before either of us could give her permission, Penny had already started typing on her phone screen without us saying anything.
While I grabbed a clean T-shirt and oversized hoddie that made into a ball where I hid clean underwear and a bra in. The last thing I want is for David to make some stupid comment on them while making Ryan uncomfortable at the same time.Once I got everything that I needed to have for a long, very needed shower, the guy who had no real reason to be in my dorm room was standing in front of the bathroom, arms crossed while smirking at me like a sliver wolf, "Just at admit that you're jealous, Ariel. It would make things a lot easier, if you do."
"Why don't you admit that you're just seeking for attention." I fired back, wanting to jump out of my skin for the sweat that was almost drying onto my body.
Which David must have noticed, as his grin grew wider, "The sooner you give in, the sooner you can take a shower.""You're behaving like a child." I said, about to walk around the guy until he stepped in front of me. When I moved to the right, he moved to the right also, his green eyes shining with amazement as he stared down at me, "You look even more adorable when you're annoyed."
"You won't be saying that once I start hurting you." I warned him with a look that is known to be deadly. And yet, for some reason, David isn't even the slightest frightened by it which was more irritating, I could feel each drop of sweat soaking into my skin with every second I stand outside of the bathroom.
