Chapter55: A night with the crush

It was Saturday once again, the day that Charlotte and I will be going on dates with the guys whom we both have been crushing over for some time now. I almost can't believe that this day had actually come. It feels so unreal for me.

Last weekend, I had to spill the whole tea out to the girls on how Luca Shannon became my adult's crush. The few times I've become like a complete different person as I've done in front of them when we were at Bestia.

After spilling everything out to them, they were more excited about this date than I was. I was a nervous wreck. Throughout this week, Janelle and Daytona could barely stop talking about this date or Charlie's date. Planning a sleepover at Daytona's dorm room, so that we can tell them everything about our night right after. They were all excited. Well, all of them expect Peyton.

"Peyton, can you help me with Jennifer's makeup, please?" Janelle asked sweetly towards her while she was getting her makeup kit ready on Daytona's bed.

Both Charlie and I told our dates to meet us at Daytona's dorm room, because we weren't ready for them to know exactly where our actual rooms were on campus yet. And since both our dates were on the same day and surprisingly at the same time, so it only made sense that we get ready together.

Daytona and Janelle were helping us get ready for tonight while Penny seemed less interested with my date than she was with Charlie's, "No makeup for Jenna. She doesn't like them anyways."

She hadn't even looked up from her phone when answering Janelle. Usually she's the one who's trying to convince me to wear some lipstick or eyeliner for one or two dates that I've gone out on. I've also notice that she doesn't take part in almost any of the conversations that involves my date with Luca whenever the girls talk about it.

Trying again, Daytona held up this orange flowy dress in front of me. Making sure that I was standing right in Penny's view, "What about this dress? Won't it look great on her?"

I've never seen this dress before and wasn't planning on wearing it soon. Doubt that it even belongs to me. However looking at it, I would honestly say that it would suit Daytona more than it would for me. The color goes so wonderfully with her creamy tone.

And thankfully, Penny agreed with my rejection towards the outfit by saying, "Yes it would look great on her, but it's not a outfit for her to wear for Luca. The leathered dungaree with that white crop top of hers is more doable."

"Ok Penny, out with it." I said while getting the outfit that she was more pleased with. Undressing myself in front of her, Janelle and Daytona since Charlie was still in the bathroom. Eversince last weekend and Monday, she has been sour towards this whole date. "I'm about to go on a date with a guy who I actually like more than the others who I've gone out and rejected. What's wrong with Luca?"

I asked while trying to pull off that puppy dog look that she would always give whenever she wants something. Whenever I ask her what her deal was with Luca, Penny would always says that it's nothing when it clearly it's nothing.

However this time turn, she finally gave up and spilled, "What's wrong with him? I'll tell you what's wrong with him. He's a cock block!"

Hearing Penny call Luca a 'cock block' caused me and Janelle to almost choke on air while Daytona was laughing her head off.

"Did I just hear someone calling someone a cock block right now?" Charlie called out from the bathroom. Surprised that she actually caught that since the walls are pretty thick. "Also who's cock blocking who?"

"LUCA!! He's blocking Jenna!" Penny excluded almost frustrated with the guy. As if he was in the room, doing something that can take her up the walls. "That guy comes out of nowhere, causing this girl to act all goofy and like a lovesick puppy over him. Then he ask her out, knowing that she and David are each other's lobsters. And that Luca guy, who's nothing more than a carb wanting to stand between what's meant to be. And that's why I'm not excited about this date, I don't like or trust Luca."
