"I still think that you should wear it." Penny said for the fourth time as I was tying my hair up into a high ponytail. I was wearing a black sports with my fashion killa crop top hoodie, grey pants and red, black and white Nikes shoes since I'm taking David to the warehouse today.

Penny wants me to put on my neon red wristband which for me, doesn't really go along with the outfit that I'm wearing right now.

"I'm not gonna wear it, Penny." I said while grabbing my sports bag that has other clothes in that I'll be changing into for the next challenge of the day. That's if David survives the first one which not many people can say that it's the easiest one to take on. "It's not the same red as my hoodie."

Shaking her head, looking more awake and energetic at six thirty in the morning. At this time, Penny would need one large cup of coffee to wake herself up. Which leads to us working out together starting at seven.
So, the fact that she can be fully awake and aware of what I would ask her to do during the workout.

"It's not about the colour of the wristband or its style, Jenna. It never has been." She said, becoming more and more excited that she was starting to smile the same way Daytona does whenever she watches her Korean drama shows. "It has always been the message behind it which is you and David slowly moving out of the friendship phase into the relationship one. Not only will you be the next 'it' couple in our group, but you'll also be the same thing in your crew."

Looking up to the ceiling after hearing that. I really should have known that Penny was going to try to convince me into believing that there could actually be something more than friendship between me and David.
Which there isn't and may never will be. There's only friendship and I want it to stay that way.

By the time that I was about to say these thoughts out to Penny, there was a knock on our door, stopping me from doing that.
When I was about to open it, somehow my roommate manage to sprint from her bed to where I stood, to quickly put the wristband on, "Take it off and you'll pay the congestion."

And by congestion, she meant that she will take me to the spa and do everything that I have and will never do, and she will make sure that it happen by force.
Grumbling under my breath before finally opening the door for the early bird who's right on time.

David stood in front of our door, with a black Nike backpack, dressed in a black Adidas tracksuit pant, navy blue and red Champion T-shirt with a pair of black All Stars.
Standing beside him was both Charlie and Ryan, both fully dressed and smiling a bit too much for this time of the day.

I couldn't help, but smile at the excitement that they were having including Penny which has been going on long now. Since last night when I last saw them, they were all still excited and wouldn't stop talking about my crew in our room.

Even after finding out that I've just gotten a tattoo. "I see, we're all very excited for David's big day, huh?"

Surprisingly David rolled his eyes with a face that screams annoyance right at ya, "It's like the first day of school all over again, two parents who wants to see everything and will not leave you alone. Even when you're inside the classroom."

"At least, they're not taking pictures of you at your new table." I added which caused him to groan softly with his eyes closed tightly to push the image almost out of his head. Seeing all of this was making me feel a bit better than the blue mood that I was in when I woke up this morning.

Despite what my Dad and I talked about last night, I still had a small piece of that gut feeling that I've had since Steve gave David the green light for the challenges to get into the crew.

"Liking the wristband, David," Penny chimed in with her head sitting on top of my shoulder. That's when I notices the neon blue wristband sitting on his left wrist while mine was on the right.
